Dave
Quote Bolton Wanderers bosses have paid money owed to the taxman, a specialist judge has confirmed after a winding up order was dismissed. The Sky Bet Championship club had been under pressure to meet payments or risk action taken against them. Inland Revenue officials had begun legal action, with Bolton's name appearing in a list of "winding up" cases at a Companies Court hearing on Wednesday. A lawyer representing revenue officials told the hearing in London that a debt had been paid and a judge, Deputy Registrar Tina Kyriakides, dismissed a winding up petition. No detail of the amount owed by the club was revealed at the hearing. Build a statue of Gary Madine.

Pig on the Wing
Anderson has been very shrewd in sorting this out amongst the other ton of debt and rinsing Cardiff for every penny of the Madine sale. Of course, he's in it for the huge profits he can make by selling on the club in the future, but 12-18 months ago we were facing winding up orders every week. The club is solvent and hopefully can only go upwards now.
