Dave
How's he done @Kitchen Sales ? Durham spoke positively about him last week which must mean something. Islam Slimani's Newcastle season is over after he was banned for three matches following a violent conduct charge. The Algeria striker accepted the charge but argued the suspension was excessive, however, this was rejected by an Independent Regulatory Commission. Slimani, who is currently on loan from Leicester, was involved in an off-the-ball incident where he kicked out at West Brom defender Craig Dawson during Saturday's 1-0 Premier League defeat at St James' Park. Honey Honey
He was poor when he came on against West Brom. Seemed to be having a go at his own team mates for things that were his mistakes. Early promise in first 2 games, not so good next 2. 4 isn't enough to judge but I wouldn't pay much for him if he was available.

Machado
Good to know justice is served to him in the PL. He was the biggest cunt in the league over here.

From what Stan and Dan were saying he hasn't exactly done his reputation wonders over here.
Administrator Stan Posted May 3, 2018 Administrator Share Posted May 3, 2018 he's a very physical player and it's his style of play to be aggressive. It can work in some teams if they play a way that suits him but aside from that, he can be a bit hit and miss. He'll blow hot and cold throughout the season and similar to what @Kitchen Sales alludes to - couple of good games with a goal or assist and couple of bad, ineffectual games. To be fair to him, he stepped up in the Champions League when required. Always scored against Porto when he was at Sporting and carried on that tradition here. Probably best if he left us cos he's definitely not the kind of player Puel would profit from in a possession-based tactic.
