The Artful Dodger Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Does seem a bad start if true, his injuries have been an issue. However, is relationship with Real Madrid has been borderline farcical for years now. Hopefully he has the desire to prove how good he is again.
Lucas Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 I'm interested to see the impact Bale has in a Mourinho team that is not as cut throat attacking wise going forward as what Bale was used to under Redknapp. He pretty much had a free role to do as he pleased then. Obviously he still has bags of talent and walks into the front three when fit, but somehow even with the likes of Kane, Son, Alli, Lucas etc currently, they still don't look anything like the team they were under Poch going forward. On paper it looks great and there's no doubt Spurs need the boost but when you are struggling to get chemistry from the current great options they have, you do wonder.

Mourinho is bringing him in to play at left back
