Lewis Baker Joins Leeds United on Loan

Recommended Posts

I was really disappointed with his lack of impact at 'Boro last season. I thought he was really going to kick on after his spell in Holland and show he's Premier quality. Possibly play catch up to R-LC.

I look forward to hearing reviews from @Lucas on how he's doing. I'm a little apprehensive now and a bit concerned that the golden boy from his age group likened to being the next Frank Lampard will be nothing more than an average Championship player.

There is no doubt Lewis did not take advantage of his loan at Middlesbro. I think because Pulis was chasing down a play-off position he tended to stick with his settled 11 & experienced pro's, leaving Lewis only bit parts. He is a good player, dangerous around the box with both dead ball and action shooting skills. He also has a good engine and wont be found lagging behind other midfield players getting back to defend.

Someone at Leeds has been watching our young players as they have taken two of the better youngsters on our books.
