Moderator Tommy Posted November 11, 2021 Moderator Posted November 11, 2021 So I finished Season 5 last night, and as a great pilot whose actor was unfortunately a bit of a creep would put it "That was one hell of a ride." Definitely one of my favourite series of all time. It had everything. The most amazing space battles I have ever seen, in which the sound design played a big part. I have a decent sound system, and I think my neighbours must have felt afraid at times by the sounds coming from my flat. The thruster and engine sounds coming from the ships were pure earporn. The political themes, the mystery themes, the character developments etc. I felt so immersed everytime I started a new episode, and I couldn't wait to get back into it! Looking forward to Season 6, but I'll be sad when it ends.

I'm not ready to see goodbye to something I just started loving. It also ruined other Sci-Fi stuff for me a bit. Like when they just warp in Star Trek or zoom away in Star Wars. Nice precautions for a High-G burn ya dickheads.

nudge Posted December 10, 2021 Author Posted December 10, 2021 Just watched S06E01. Decent start of the season, although I thought it was somewhat underwhelming - especially considering Season 6 will only have 6 episodes in total. Also Naomi is an annoying bitch, can't stand her.

Raised the bar really high for any future sci-fi series...

Not many shows had me so immersed into the whole universe of it all. 9 novels and 9 short stories are published, so plenty of universe to keep immersing into... At least that's what I intend to do now that the show ended. Started reading years ago, but stopped as I didn't want to spoil it for myself...
