Hopefully he can get you to a tournament. Would be good to see
Smiley Culture
Bloke’s an idiot. Loved in his current role and his stock is rising by the week, so to take on a job like Scotland, where they’re institutionally broken and the fans have higher expectations than their status, is just a bit daft, IMO. It reeks of him being under pressure by October after games with Cyprus, Belgium x2 and Russia x2.

If he turns down Scotland he might not get a chance again. I can understand him taking the job.
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted May 21, 2019 Author Subscriber Share Posted May 21, 2019 Might be the same old story after a few months and he will be another one out of the door, the whole Scottish board should resign and get replaced, they couldn't organise a piss up in a boxing ring. ScoRoss
Ian Maxwell, who made the appointment, is a new face within the SFA. He seems to have bought himself a lot of good grace with this. Certainly enough to last this qualification cycle... Now, he just needs to show Malky Mackay out the building...
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted May 21, 2019 Author Subscriber Share Posted May 21, 2019 I just hope he can be at least like former Scotland manager Craig Brown who took over from Andy Roxburgh, Craig Brown's appointment... " His appointment was greeted critically, as Brown had a low-profile career in football beforehand. Despite limited resources, Brown managed to lead Scotland to qualification for two major tournaments, UEFA Euro 1996 and the 1998 FIFA World Cup." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland_national_football_team_manager#1986–2001:_Roxburgh_and_Brown
