Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted July 2, 2019 Subscriber Posted July 2, 2019 Dutch forward Hossein Zamani, 16, has come to the attention of Manchester United, Manchester City and AC Milan because he is considering leaving Ajax (Mail)
Dr. Gonzo Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I think at 16 if he's any good, he's better off staying at Ajax. They've got a long history of developing players really well before getting them a big move to a top club - seems the perfect place for any good young player in Europe.
Panna King Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Everton and Leicester City are allegedly showing serious interest in Zamani, but there's competition from AC Milan, Atalanta, Marseille, Manchester City and Manchester United. This seems like a move being driven by Everton's director of football Marcel Brands, who will have an incredible knowledge of all the top talents coming through in his native Netherlands.

Unfortunately some players of certain backgrounds, just rather chase money then stay at a club like Ajax to develop. Edgar Davids was appointment for this role to educate the young players of a certain background to stay and develop at Ajax, Cruyff was branded a racist for this even though it was the right thing to do at the time because of the history of the players leaving.
