Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted August 30, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted August 30, 2019 I've just been reading this from The Guardian. Interesting to see how many former Championship players are finding the net in the Premier League. Hopefully more to come! https://www.theguardian.com/football/who-scored-blog/2019/aug/28/premier-league-top-scorers-great-advert-championship
Spike
You don't have to go back to many years to remember Danny Graham and Rickie Lambert for instance.

Kevin Phillips was another great example. Came up with Sunderland and won the golden boot.
Lucas
Marcus Stewart was another one. He got promoted with Ipswich in the Championship, and in their first season up, finished 2nd in the golden boot to Hasselbaink and got Ipswich into the UEFA cup. They were favourites to go down that year as well. But they were actually in contention to get in the champions League till the last game of the season. Then they got relegated the season after. They actually reached the uefa cup again the year after through the fair play league and played in it despite being in the old division 1.
