Faithcore Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I was surprised to find out that there's no thread about arguably the best Formula One driver of all time. What are your favourite memories of Heinz-Harald? Will there ever be a worthy successor? Can't wait to read all of your stories.
Moderator Tommy Posted September 8, 2019 Moderator Posted September 8, 2019 I know this is a bit of a joke from you, but he was my favourite driver growing up. I remember Peter Sauber saying Frentzen had more "natural talent" than Schumacher, but wasn't such a hard worker. I remember him fighting for the title in a freakin' Jordan! Favourite moment was his first win in Imola, for sure.
nudge Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 A good driver but always lacked that extra something that makes a talented driver into a champion; determination, ruthlessness, resilience, dealing with pressure. For me personally he was kind of boring... 1999 French GP was a class drive by him.
