  1. 127 Hours 9/10 Fantastic film and terrific acting. Franco was robbed of the oscar. Like Jim Carrey, I hope James Franco doesn't continue doing comedy films alone, as he has so much more potential than that.
  2. Southampton wanted more than 50 million for Van Dijk, what makes you think Bertrand would go for any less? And in relation to price, Bertrand or Sandro should be a no brainier.
  3. From first hearing it, you can't help but feel the jealousy from Sansa towards Jon and the influence Baelish has had on her regarding the true lord in the north. Maybe a plot to have Jon killed? He is the lone wolf after all. That would be in incredibly poor taste and writing considering the amount it took to bring Jon back to life in the first place. And that would be far too predictable. Could mean a whole number of things but for me, that is the most likely.
  4. You're right. It's not. Let's just go into the season with Alonso as our only LWB option and ignore the 250 million we have available to spend. Just spend it all on a striker.
  5. How is it a matter of opinion? He has proven to be lethal in Europe as well as domestically, being one of the best LB's in the world and arguably Brazil's best LB both defensively and going forward. Every top successful footballing club has exceptional wing backs. Having him and Alonso would improve us tremendously, and would be a definite upgrade on Alonso. We have the money to get a goal scorer as well as improve other areas. What frustrates me is that instead of achieving these targets, we are too busy buying youngsters titled as 'the next messi' or 'the next ronaldo' yet won't ever reach their potential, loan out to Vitesse, then never to be heard of again.
  6. Because Sandro is a signing that would instantly improve us and easily be worth his value, not some youngster who won't ever see the light of day playing in a Chelsea kit with the first team.
  7. How is this good news? Maybe for the youth and under 21 sides as well as the business aspect, but he is destined to be playing at vitesse until he is sold for a higher profit. Another Kakuta signing.
  8. Like I said, Bundesliga next year should be a cracker
  9. Do we need a new Centre Back? Or do we rely on Christensen? Conte is a smart man, and I'm sure he is well aware that our Cenre backs have weaknesses, particularly dealing with pace.
  10. Considering Klaasen went for almost 30 million, and in today's market, we should most definitely be aiming there for Traore.
  11. If we are serious in being self sufficient (which seems to be the case considering our recent policies and business) then why in gods name are we still negotiating such piss poor prices for talented players? Solanke, Traore both have great potential, more so the latter, yet both will leave for less than 30 million. Absolutely absurd.
  12. 16 million? Honestly who is negotiating these prices? We should be looking for at least 25-30 million for Traore.
  13. Got that Hannibal, silence of the lambo

  14. Probably a Bull shit report, but it's funny how this article, especially the paragraph in bold, was something I stated literally a couple weeks ago.
  15. 3 at the back only works if there is efficient protection in the midfield or the defenders truly understand the role. Don't think England have either. Kane Dele------Lallana----Sterling Henderson---Dier Rose-----Keane-----Jones----Walker Forster
  16. Nothing better than a wine buzz.
  17. Gutted we didn't get him. Talented player. Still, it's reassuring to know that Conte's preferred choice was always Bakayoko. With what he did with Alonso, Moses, and Luiz. Always will trust his judgement. Sanches is surely loaned out or sold though?
  18. Banning ruins the forum in my opinion
  19. With Perez in charge, not a chance. You got lucky with Carvajal, as Danilo was supposed to be a direct replacement for him (30 million well spent mind you). Turned out to be shit whereas Carvajal exceeded expectations. Perez will always opt for a Galatico.
  20. Who said they don't? They do however integrate youth players into the side.. Like I said, they still have 5 youth players in the starting XI. They even fielded an entire team of youth players a few seasons back.
  21. Your point? This is also the same Real Madrid that spent 60 million on Kaka and 30 million on Coentrao who were nothing but bench warmers. Just because this is the first brilliant piece of business Real Madrid have had doesn't outweight the amount of money they wasted this past decade on players. It's also hilarious how you criticise Barca's youth integration when they still have 5 academy players in the starting XI. More than Real have had this century.
