  1. We are not going to pay 70 fucking million for Lukaku.
  2. Manchester United are actually having a best celebration award....what has this club come to?
  3. Literally only one of them is an actual defensive mid
  4. Aside the nonsense that he is even on there, What's truly mind boggeling is why he is even considered ahead of Herrera?
  5. Any way we can look at status replies without being directed to the user's profile?

@SirBalon There's not much to see doen there. :what:

  6. Those talks are primarily from his father, who is a nonce. If he is good enough, which he has all the makings to be, he will play.
  7. Those are the most likely options. Shift Azpi to the LCB and place Andreas at RCB could be another. Conte obviously rates him considering there are reports he is willing to offload Zouma in favor of Christensen. Not to mention Christensen has been one of the best Centre Backs in the Bundeslega for the past 2 years now. And bare in mind, Conte has made Cahill and Luiz, two defenders who have been known for being liabilities at the back, look like redefined players. Christensen has such an elegant way of defending and reading the game, can only imagine what Conte can do to him for his progression.
  8. Think one player in particular needs more recognition and that is Cahill. Many people, myself included, continuously complain about his flaws as a centre back. He is no natural defender in the same respect as Puyol, Nesta, Terry, or Ferdinand, and he most certainly is the opposite of a centre back that you can trust when they are one on one with an attacker. He is however a defender who has exceeded expectations from his own standard. Since 2012, the club has asked so much of him. From defending the line at Bolton, to playing against Bayern Munich in the European Cup final in the space of 5 months. FA Cup and League cup finals, now two Premier League titles, one of which he has captained. He is such a danger at set pieces that it completely goes unnoticed at times. A Cahill goal seems to be a regular thing nowadays. Much respect to him. No Terry to rely on in the starting XI anymore, yet has shown a lot of character and resilience under Conte and this new system. It remains to be seen whether Cahill will continue to captain the side, Christensen will take his spot, or Conte will want a new CB in the summer. What is certain is that lifting the PL trophy as captain should be the hallmark of Cahill's extraordinary career. Super Gary Cahill
  9. Klopp has made himself look on par with Mourinho with his excuses this past week. Blamed the result against Saints due to the pitch being too dry and that the saints tried less against Arsenal? Jesus wept.
  10. RIP Big Black :(

  11. Imagine if there were a Marcelo shirt
  12. Played against us 8 times and no shirt swaps? Not that many happy endings I suppose...
  13. Is it any surprise though? Like I said, the best of him died with Inter in 2010. Not counting Leicester in December of 2015, his last away goal against a top 6 side was against Spurs in the 3-5 defeat at the Lane in January of 2015.
  14. If it were against us most definitely.
  15. Not much wrong with what he said. Expected him to go on about how he played a 2nd string team (a 2nd sting side that is almost 200 million mind you) in order to rest players for Thursday.
  16. Meat Eater on Netflix strangely addicting
  17. Attacking mid but can play on the wing (like Iniesta). Only plays wide to accommodate either Ronaldo or Bale.
  18. What ever happened to Diego Milito?

I wouldn't call him a one season wonder, he was pretty good through his career scoring many goals for small sides with the difficulty that entails. It's just that he only got to play for a decent team when he was already 29 and his second season was plagued by injuries. He then had another great season after that and another good in the subsequent season judging by numbers although he didn't play as much. He left Inter at 34, moved to Racing and retired last year.

He was never a one season wonder. Hit 20+ in Serie A three or four times and did a number for Zaragoza in Spain. I just checked he has over 250 goals in his career. Not a bad effort.

He was class for Real Zaragoza. Definitely not a one season wonder. All that goes against him is the lack of "big clubs" he played for, although he was certainly no one season wonder.

  19. Verratti would be more of a replacement towards Rakitic, considering they play similar roles. What is a true shame is that there are two players in Europe right now I feel could be Iniesta's heir, and they are both playing for Real Madrid. Asensio and Isco.
  20. Doubt it. Unlike Xavi, Iniesta has a technical ability and elegance that surpasses any midfielder in Europe. Xavi was at a decline and could be replaceable, Iniesta can't.
  21. Agreed. In other news, Lacazette to Atletico almost finalised.
  22. True, but Barca are 3/3 in having managers being successful that have played for the club and understand 'the barca way'.
  23. says he wants to see out his 3 years? Think by then Xavi will be ready.
