  1. Be interested to see a midfield 3 of Philips, Rice, and Bellingham, but still feel England are too weak at CB to play a back 4. - Maguire moves like a fridge. - Stones a liability. - Tomori has poor awareness which he makes up for in pace. - Mings not good enough - Coady not good enough - Guehi arguably has all the tools but still untested at the highest level.
  2. Wonder if Southgate will ever try Toney and Kane together.
  3. Apparently close to appointing Christopher Freund as DoF. Know nothing about him other than he saw the recruitment at Salzburg for these players: Haaland Sesko Mane Adeyemi Upamecano Keita Laimer Gulasci Sabitzer Daka Mwepu Szbosozlai
  4. My take, Tuchel didn't like it when the owners got involved in the day to day. Didn't want to be micromanaged. He spent months working with Cech and Marina and they never got involved in anything. They let him do his thing. You then look at Tuchel's tenure at PSG and Dortmund, and things start to make sense. Maybe that's been the issue regarding our recruitment strategy, which has been appalling for the past decade. No director of football that works with the head coach to establish an actual identity create a effective scouting network. You look at Txiki at City and he is heavily involved with Pep and the team.
  5. Purchase agreement states Boehly can't sell within 10 years. I've read his interview and although his ideas do not even come close to reflecting the tradition of Premier league and European football, its quite easy to tell how he's become a billionaire. Lot of ideas to bring in funding.
  6. Fantastic. Looking forward to that dreadful match week of 4 matches stretched in 7 days.
  7. Dr. Sleep 7/10 Thought this was a fantastically written film. Does well as a stand alone and even does well as a sequel to The Shining.
  8. What. The Fuck. Was that performance tonight?
  9. Broja has signed an extension of additional 2 years (6 total) with improved terms. Happy to secure him long term. Reece James up next to receive an additional 4 years + improved terms.
  10. Way lander is Chuck McGill
  11. 70m for a player to only shitehouse and 'work his socks off". Ok then.
  12. Only Hazard could get away with that. And even then, his domestic performance didn’t correlate in the Champions League.
  13. So is Creed to Rocky but I wouldn’t call Creed a bad film because it isn’t as good as Rocky when the latter is a genuine masterpiece. Creed is a good movie on its own. It’s also only the first episode so time will tell.
  14. It’s just the nickname Rick gave you which I thought was a laugh. I do think you are OTT though. It’s not perfect but your review made it out to be as if it was the worst thing ever televised. Unfair to compare it to something that is damn near perfection in GoT opening episode.
  15. If Butt Hurt Billie is this critical on House of Dragon I can only imagine his reaction to the Rings of power series. I am highly anticipating the latter to be an abomination of incredible proportion.
  16. Tbh I always felt United the bigger rival during that period over Liverpool. Exchanging league titles over a few years, then the FA Cup final and the Champions League final the following season.
  17. Latest on our end. - Aubameyang set to be completed. £18m + add ons. - Both reps from Chelsea and Everton are working on structure of Gordon deal. Lampard wants funds to bring in Che Adams. - Unlikely Chelsea will bid again for Fofana. - Chalobah close to going out on loan with both Milan clubs as suitors. - CHO on the verge of joining Bayer Leverkusen on loan with option to buy. - Ajax priced out on Ziyech who the club value at £37m
  18. It is funny how everyone hated GoT after season 8 yet the premier of House of the Dragon was the most viewed premier in HBO history.
  19. I'm still skeptical whether or not they got it right with the casting, but thought it was still a good watch. Have you read Fire and Blood?
  20. Hard to get invested in it when I've already read A Dance With Dragons. Still, was a really good opening episode.
  21. I think a story that intertwines both is a complete disrespect to both of them. Each in their own right is brilliant and deserve their own story and universe.
