I haven´t heard any rumours about retirement yet, but according to Flamengo´s doctor it´s a very complex fracture and he´ll need surgery. Today, he will go through more exams in order to give the doctors a more accurate diagonisis. But yes, it looks really bad.

It's kind of unreal though that Milan bought Lucas Paquetá for 35 million euros less than a year ago, when he was already a undisputed starter for Flamengo and had already reached the national team. If Everton really makes that offer, Flamengo should sell him without further thought. In my opinion, if Everton really wants to splash the cash in Brazil, instead of buying Reinier for 40 mil, buying both Bruno Guimarães and Pedro for a total of 50 million euros is a better business. Established players who would make Everton a better team from day one.

Reinier is the best well-known and the best rated U-17 prospect in Brazil. He´s an attacking midfielder, with a really good eye for the goal. He is often compared to Kaká and it´s a decent comparison. Obivously, I´m not saying he will be the next Kaká but he has a similar style, he´s tall, has long strides and is very difficult to stop once he reaches full speed, not to mention he shoots very well. Very objective player, he´s not your traditional brazilian hot prospect in the sense that he´s not a winger that has a vast arsenal of tricks to dribble, he´s more objective, he uses his body and speed to get past by players and is also a good passer. 40 million is a lot of money for an unproven player and at that price Flamengo, despite being a wealthy club, would certainly sell him. On the other hand, Real Madrid was criticized when they bought Vinicius for 45 million euros and 2 years later, it seems like they´ve gotten themsleves a huge bargain. It´s a dangerous signing because you never know if a 17-year old will turn out to be good at the professional level, but Reinier seems to be a good bet to take that risk.

Watford paid 2.5 million euros for his "purchase promise", with the rest 7.5 million euros to be paid later. But right now, my favorite brazilian youngster is Bruno Guimarães. He plays for my hometown team Athletico Paranaense, so I may be biased, but this kid is a complete midfielder.

My impression is that Trump´s instincts are isolationist. But at the same time, he has John Bolton on his staff, so you never know. Neymar rumours floating around and this time they've been really strong. Apparently, Messi wants Neymar back. If I made the calls at Barça, I'd push for this move. Neymar is a true generational player and there's no doubt he'd give a lot to the club. Barcelona have to make the most of Messi's peak and Neymar helps it. The fanbase wouldn't like it at first, but you must do what is best for the club not what the fans want.

João Pedro, 17 years old, 7 goals in 10 matches. Already sold to Watford for 10 million euros. Brazilian clubs are so dumb. This is an absolute bargain.

Griezmann and not Pogba is the french player who truly triggers me. He represents what´s worst in the modern footballer, what an exhbitionist and egocentric clown he is.

Ligue 1 is brutal in terms of physicality. I actually think he´d be more protected in Premier League. But on the other part, I agree, his antics would be much more scrutinized in England.

He´s really good. Very dynamic midfielder, with a good pass and work ethic to defend. One thing that stands out is how his long-range passing is good, something for example Arthur struggles to do. Bruno can pass acuratelly both from short and long distances. Inter, Milan, Napoli, Chelsea, Lille and Shakhtar are said to be interested. Athletico is my hometown team and I used to go to their matches when I lived in Curitiba, so it´s exciting to see talents like Bruno Guimarães, Renan Lodi and Leo Pereira get interest from big clubs in Europe.
