Josh Alexander is awesome. Hopefully he can get himself in NXT via Ethan Page soon.
  3. 22 year old right midfielder. Can play as a ten if required. Technically very good, can take free kicks and skip past a man. He's really stepped up this season in terms of link up play and drifting unmarked in to the box. The only red flag is that he seems to have reoccurring hamstring problems but the improvement he's made given the limited number of appearances is really impressive. This video was made around the time we started our insane finish to the season: I think he will be a success at Bayern. There may not be instant gratification as he adapts to a new club but once he's settled I imagine you'll see him progress in to an all round very good right sided midfielder. I'd be surprised if he misses out on the France World Cup as long as he remains injury free.
  4. I think he'd be an excellent fit for Bayern.
  5. If this materialises ill be happy for him. Playing for a side expecting to challenge for major trophies every season is exactly the level he should be playing at. The hardest part about the model we committed to in 2021 is the selling aspect. If the first player we sell goes to a club as prestigious as Bayern, then that sends a very strong message to young players we attempt to sign about how well they can develop here.
  6. Lando Lando Leclerc Sainz DNF Williams
  7. I said this to someone I was with at the Serbia match about Phil Foden. He was either making movements that our players couldn't pick out in possession, or he didn't have the players to cover for him when he was roaming and we had big gaps on the left side. It's why I'm not surprised both goals have come from down the right. I haven't watched enough German Football this season to know if they do it for us but seeing the way Musiala and Wirtz swap sides and float past people seems far more effective in tournament football.
  8. It's a shame Barcelona will play him in all the La Liga matches, and the Copa Del Rey, and the new expanded Champions League, and the Super League, and the World Club Cup, and he will be burnt out by the time he's meant to graduate from university.
  9. I get the impression Graham Potter is waiting to see if the England job becomes available, and Leicester quite rightly don't want to wait until after pre season has started to announce a new manager.
  10. I don't think it's as bad as people will make out. He plays to player strengths as opposed to a certain philosophy. He had a very good reputation in the England set up and has improved both Swansea and Nottingham Forest. Whilst I accept the 5-0 defeat to Fulham which led to his dismissal was dismal, they had eleven points in fourteen games which would have been enough to keep them up last season.
  11. Ayoze Perez on the field. Spain's equivalent of Spurs in the Super League.
  12. Spain to get to the quarters and batter someone with 30 chances but not score and go out in extra time.
  13. It's sad to see what you've become.
  14. As much as I want to defend Gareth and not get carried away after one abject performance, he does make it hard when he makes comments like this. We have a lot of talent in this squad and he's hung up over The Yorkshire Pudding.
  15. Should apologise for putting the jinx on Williams there.
  16. He's just fishing, still hurt from the last Euros tournament, it's incredibly sad to see.
  17. As much as I think some of the criticism against Southgate is people looking for somebody to blame, if we don't make it to the semis at least and get beaten by a France, Germany or a Portugal then he should resign. He's done a fantastic job at changing the culture of this England team, but we know hes not a world class tactician and losing at an earlier stage to an inferior nation would show he's taken us as far as he can.
  18. We have a lot of attacking players who naturally want to recieve the ball deep, which explains the lack of pressing and why Sterling used to be a favourite.
