  1. Foden looking better playing central. To the surprise of no one.
  2. Trent off. Hopefully we can all now accept that the primary skill of a central midfielder isn't a banging long diag.
  3. I don't think it helps that Foden, Kane and Bellingham naturally like to come deep to get the ball. It's forcing the rest of the team back. I'd bring on Gordon or Eze at half time.
  4. https://insidecroydon.com/2024/06/18/eagles-fans-cry-fowl-play-as-palace-sign-betting-firm-sponsor/ This article explains it far better than I could.
  5. I've really enjoyed watching front four and wing backs for Germany. Looking forward to see how they perform against one of the teams considered to be in the top ten in Europe.
  6. Croatia 2 - 1 Albania Germany 3 - 1 Hungary Scotland 1 - 2 Switzerland Slovenia 1 - 1 Serbia Denmark 1 - 1 England Spain 2 - 2 Italy Slovakia 1 - 1 Ukraine Poland 1 - 2 Austria Netherlands 1 - 1 France Georgia 2 - 2 Czech Republic Turkey 1 - 2 Portugal Belgium 2 - 1 Romania
  7. Belgium. Time for them to show up after doing the lords work in the last round.
  8. Montella vs Sagnol is not the battle I expected to see in 2024.
  9. Southgate won't get credit for it but putting Guehi on the front post for corners was a real shrewd move.

I agree about the big one. The best loser title and the Intercontinental title though, I'd have had at least one of them switch last night. At least Kay Lee Ray got an unexpected cool moment.
  11. England to win by the odd goal and both teams to score. I'm a little worried about the threat from Tadic's crosses to th big men up top without Harry Maguire in defence.

Blimey, Triple H loves his long boring title reigns doesn't he.
  13. Croatia making Scotish fans feel slightly better by being down two goals early.
  14. Very sad to hear. I heard he was 'very unwell' in hospital, but when you don't hear anything more you just assume/hope no news is good news when it's somebody in there 50's. It speaks volumes that nobody had a bad word to say about him.
  15. Needless to say there's a difference between wanting change and supporting a team that's intentionally broken the rules.
  16. Went for Gundogan last night as he's Germany's regular penalty taker. Cheers Pourteous.
