  1. I'm surprised they didn't buy a majority share in MK Dons. If there's one club with good potential to grow that you could get away with changing the badge and name to no uproar in England that would be it.
  2. Couldn't have been better timing given the anger in the 'Fifa Community' about how terrible the last EA game was. Im looking forward to seeing reviews for this. 2K have really stepped up there WWE games and the NBA game has always been well recieved.
  3. It seems like Steve Cooper is holding out for the job after turning down Burnley.
  4. I don't mind it to be honest. One of the biggest criticisms towards the scrap of FA Cup replays was the occasional team would miss out on revenue generated from a replay. This ensures multiple teams get the opportunity for a bumper pay day every season. With the way football is heading as well, season tickets are going to be a thing of the past. Premier League clubs know they can make a lot more money per head on tourists than a local diehard fan. So early cup ties may be your best chance to see a big club (or watch your big club) if you have a young family.
  5. It sounds like this has been driven by Winstanley and Stewart. Whose jobs should really be bought in to question if it doesn't work.
  6. Steve Cooper has declined the chance to become Burnley manager. (Via: David Ornstein)
  7. A lot of very repetitive winners. I could never understand when I was younger why American sports had draft systems. Obviously it would never work over here as you'd eliminate the concept of relegation, but seeing graphs like that make me realise why they do it and why it works for them.
  8. Could John Textor throw an uppercut at Steve Parish on his way out?
  9. My first thought was tough paper round.
  10. Brentford, Southampton and Wolfsburg are interested in signing Sepp Van Den Berg. Liverpool value the defender at £20m. (Source: James Pearce)
