  1. Just watching the news now makes me a little sad for America. I remember when I was younger thinking that America was an all mighty benchmark, then they went one further and had a progressive Black President. Now every time I turn on the news I see some Republican making a tit of themselves.
  2. I think it would need to be in the 75m region for us to answer the phone but I think we can keep him for another season. Marc Guehi is the one I'm most nervous about leaving given he has two years left on his contract, followed by Michael Olise and then Ebere Eze.
  3. A major win for Ipswich this given the teams he's been linked with. I imagine this is a sign that they're going to invest significantly to compete this season too.
  4. I'm surprised they didn't buy a majority share in MK Dons. If there's one club with good potential to grow that you could get away with changing the badge and name to no uproar in England that would be it.
  5. Couldn't have been better timing given the anger in the 'Fifa Community' about how terrible the last EA game was. Im looking forward to seeing reviews for this. 2K have really stepped up there WWE games and the NBA game has always been well recieved.
  6. It seems like Steve Cooper is holding out for the job after turning down Burnley.
  7. I don't mind it to be honest. One of the biggest criticisms towards the scrap of FA Cup replays was the occasional team would miss out on revenue generated from a replay. This ensures multiple teams get the opportunity for a bumper pay day every season. With the way football is heading as well, season tickets are going to be a thing of the past. Premier League clubs know they can make a lot more money per head on tourists than a local diehard fan. So early cup ties may be your best chance to see a big club (or watch your big club) if you have a young family.
  8. It sounds like this has been driven by Winstanley and Stewart. Whose jobs should really be bought in to question if it doesn't work.
  9. Steve Cooper has declined the chance to become Burnley manager. (Via: David Ornstein)
