I can't remember which podcast I heard it on. I havent found it in writing. But it would have been a guest with Athletic, NTT20, Guardian Weekly etc. Essentially it was after the takeover was official. They mentioned how the previous ownership dropped the ball very early on by letting Zola and Redknapp spend all they were willing to invest in the club. To which the guest who covered Birmingham mentioned that Rowett had been courting himself to more than one other club after telling the new owners he was committed to the club. So they acted swiftly to get rid. My initial thought was that it made sense. As you said, he has a smug dislikable aura about him.

He really makes it difficult for people who want to root for his company.

With 24 races it feels like they're diluting the product. More teams isn't a bad thing for the consumer. I imagine current teams will push back as they'll get less of the pie but they've done well to have ten teams for this length of time.

@Stan sadly this attitude towards referees is a culture at the club that's seeped in over time through Jurgen Klopp. I was embarrassed for him at Selhurst watching him chewing his veneers like some crack addict desperate for his fix yelling obscenities at the officials at every occasion. After that I noticed it a lot more, all fan bases thought Andy Robertson shouting at that official before getting clocked was out of order, Liverpool fans thought it was fair game. Nearly all fan bases thought Moruinho was a disgrace for his antics after the Europa Conferance final, Liverpool fans thought it was fair game. Now they've got this ghost goal to justify viewpoints and behaviours that are quite frankly unacceptable.

I like Eddie's promos but he's so out of shape and that chop thing he does in the corner looks so bad people need to stop pretending that it hurts.
