Aguero is getting replaced with a high value striker Manchester City are ready to spend big on a couple of players of quality this summer, says chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak. In the wake of the club's Champions League final defeat by Chelsea, Khaldoon says City "will be back". He said "the biggest mistake" would be to rest on their laurels after winning the Premier League. Speaking through his club's media channels, Khaldoon said the emphasis would be on "quality". His comments come amid a growing expectation that City are preparing a club record bid for England skipper Harry Kane. "Having won the league, it is not the time to sit back and be content," said Khaldoon. "That would be your biggest mistake. This is the time to send a strong message that there is no contentment, that you are not satisfied with just winning the league." City have space for Kane in Pep Guardiola's squad following the departure of striker Sergio Aguero, one of the club's highest earners. "Sergio Aguero's shoes are very hard shoes to fill but I am confident we will find the right player to fill those shoes," said Khaldoon. "There are other areas in the team that need investment. Not too many - it is not about numbers, it is about quality. But we will bring quality into the squad in a couple of key positions." This summer many of City's Premier League rivals will be attempting to stretch budgets that have been massively impacted by playing virtually a full season without fans. And there are no guarantees full stadiums will be allowed when the 2021-22 campaign begins on 14 August. "Our financial balance sheet is strong and we will invest wisely and do what we need to do," said Khaldoon. "But the market will be difficult as there won't be enough liquidity. There will be movement but it will done in a more creative way." It has been suggested City might use players as bargaining chips to get deals done, although in the past, such transfers have proved difficult. But despite criticism from outside the club of Guardiola for his team selection against Chelsea in Porto, the City hierarchy is solidly behind the man who has brought them three league titles out of the past five and led them into what Khaldoon describes as the club's "golden era". "We will do everything we can to keep Pep for as long as possible at this club," said Khaldoon. "He is in the right environment and has the right infrastructure around him. "We have the greatest trust and the greatest relationship and we have achieved so much. The journey goes on and it will go on as long as Pep is happy and we are happy."

Well, i'm absolutely wank at drums so need to get some ready made patterns to piece together ...i'm looking to make songs along the lines of Corpses "scourge of iron" really heavy slow doom'y sounding riffs with death metal sections so just find my favourite songs, change a few notes and piece them together, this music writing is easy ..works for avenge sevenfold anyway lol

Whats the best thing to get for death metal drum patterns? ..i normally just go on you tube and jam along to someone doing a drum cover id really like to make my own songs though, i can growl just not at the same time as playing guitar lol

Yeah, a phones not the best way to capture that kind of sound ..which mics would you recommend? can i mic 2 cabs up at the same time? ..it's a combination of the 2 different sounding amps that give me that sound

Thanks for the recommendations, i will look into them ..i don't have a mic, need to get one to capture the sound i'm getting with the 6505mh & Line 6 spider 2 ..finally got the sound i was after which turned out to be stereo with the sound of 3 guitars playing at the same time, who knew ..you need that doubler pedal, through one amp its a bit blah but through 2 amps in stereo it sounds amazing and thick!

You know, it sounds better in the classic mode rather than the boosted im sure my amps broke low end is really muffled.. that fuzz sound im missing for the corpse sound, its just the tubes cranked, just had my post gain right up and that took it to the next level, the guy next door came out his house

It does sound a lot better in the room as its in stereo ..getting the phone placement right was tricky as it was clipping out like mad near the amps! need to learn how to record with my laptop, i haven't got a clue on that side of things i have a focusrite but not really bothered with it ..anyway, got some new toys for my birthday next week, my wife who hates the racket i make with my guitars bought me some stuff to make more racket! i think they just like a reason to moan lol ..i got the Maxon ST-9pro+ and TC Electronics Doubler so with that i can play in stereo through 2 amps at the same time and thicken the signal up to 4 guitars, best bit of kit i own, its a game changer, highly recommended ..so i'm playing through the 6505mh & Line 6 spider 2 though the Meshuggah preset with my KV7 7-string, in the room it's most brutal sound i've made, don't know how the windows are still in wish i could capture it properly
