  1. 7th minute for both...
  2. On another note Uniteds win yesterday means we have dropped down to the Europa Conference league qualifications section and although that would probably be a good start for our lot ( pigeon steps and all that ) there are rumblings about even taking part given the financial implications and if it would be better to bin it altogether.. The financial rules are different for the lower tier and even if we were so good and didn't put a foot wrong and went on and won the whole thing it's only worth something like £16M.. Why Man Utd glory puts Todd Boehly and Chelsea in the FFP mire amid European ban claim (msn.com)
  3. Ten Hag safe in his job for the next 50 minutes at least...

Happy Birthday mate... all the best
  5. I am beginning to doubt that... I reckon that would be above his pay grade.. They will spend money no doubt but it will be on potential youth talent for the future and the incoming manager will just have to make do with what he has or has been chosen for him which is probably why there is some discontent and high turnover.. They don't want an upstart with ideas.. they want a mindless drone who just follows orders..
  6. Agreed, No matter how they sell it no manager coming in would be guaranteed to be there the following season unless they managed to secure silverware.. Going to Chelsea is not for the feint hearted..
  7. Yea, I did read an article recently that suggested this was one of the reasons but you would still have to ask what they are looking for long term if they don't stick by a Manager for more than a year to try and build something?? This is a young squad with great potential if it was moulded right and guided in the right direction with sensible investment over a few seasons, a few tweaks here and there and we could be all singing and dancing over the next few seasons..
  8. That seems to be part of the problem though doesn't it, When you listen to some of the things Poch was saying like he would not be involved in transfers over the summer makes you wonder if it was because he knew he would be leaving or because they don't want his involvement... Good sides have a mix of both youth and experience but getting the general feeling now that the Managers have very little say on who comes and who goes..
  9. It's a right old circus... clowns everywhere you look So much for bringing in managers for a long term project. It's just one after another. Boehly seems to be following the Abramovich path of culling managers left right and centre except that when Abramovich did it we always had something to show for it at the end of a season.. I strongly doubt that whomever they bring in would have much more luck than the previous ones because it seems as though the team itself and players we get are not in their hands but they are expected to make something out of someone else's choices.. " Here a bunch of young players we picked now go make it work " Someone could get lucky of course, the improvements towards the end of the season looked promising and if that could be maintained we could have a much better season ahead but if the manager is not getting much say on recruitment either in or out then don't really see the point in having one?? Might as well put a cardboard cut out in the dugout every matchday..
  10. Congratulations Nudge... Thanks for running this @RandoEFC

  12. Congratulations @Michael Thanks for running this @Rucksackfranzose Always good to finish above @Stan & @Tommy
  13. Considering the season we have had to finish 6th and be back in Europe in some form or another is welcome if not a little unexpected.. Don't know what the plans are over the summer but we will miss Thiago Silva.. what a great player he has been for us
  14. I agree with @RandoEFC some of these end of season fixtures should be held back so you put teams together like today would be Arsenal/City so both sides have something to fight for...
  15. What an outstanding goal from Caicedo all the way from the half way line..
  16. Arsenal 3-0 Everton Brentford 1-2 Newcastle Brighton 2-2 Man Utd Burnley 1-0 Forest Chelsea 1-1 Bournemouth Crystal Palace 2-1 Aston Villa Liverpool 3-0 Wolves Luton 1-1 Fulham Man City 5-0 West Ham Sheff Utd 1-3 Tottenham
  17. Congratulations to Chelsea Women for lifting a fifth straight Title in a row.. Thought the season might fade and they would end up with nothing but they turned it around in the last 3 games of the season to end on a high.. A fitting end to Emma Hayes time with the club and congrats to all players that made it happen..
