  1. If it wasnt for China, nothing would have needed stamping out. And if they had revealed the severity of it all 3 weeks earlier (instead of trying to cover it up), the death toll throughout the world could have been 95% less than what it is now (so experts say?)
  2. Yep, scrap it. Been a total disaster whilst taking all the euphoria out of the game. There cant be one single person on planet earth that thinks its improved the game.
  3. Hope I get it soon. By the time summer comes I'll be immune so can spend all my time in an empty pub. Kinell it will be like having a cold. There aren't half some daiseys in this world. Love blowing things all out of proportion.
  4. We would have to lose 7 whilst City win every game.
  5. What's Liverpool being shit got to do with Jorginho pal? Anyway, I cant wait till we are shit as well. It will mean i can totally shut off from the absolute circus that technology has done to football. If we win the league I'll be staying at my uncle's for the parade and that's me done. Cant stand the game
  6. I dont understand? Cicero etc was saying not long ago that Jorginho was so good he could take a slice of bread and transition it to a slice of bacon?
  7. Cant remember the last time I mentioned Istanbul? Wiping the floor with Barca is the best recent memory
  8. I just found it wierd how you bring it up, totally out of randomness, 3 years after the event That's like, totally not funny.
  9. City and Liverpool are certainly the best two teams in the country currently. I'm sorry though mate, I just cant get onboard with it being a rivalry. Heard today that the FA are also looking into City's spending and could face a 2 year transfer ban? It's all going tits up for you lot mate it seems?
  10. City - Liverpool a rivalry? Dont make me laugh! Oil money V's a proper club is no rivalry. I hate United but they are massive compared to you lot.
  11. Apparently Klopp has aproached Saka's reps? That would be interesting?
  12. This 'special team' was put together with a countries money? Other clubs dont have that luxury.
  13. Not as good as Willian or Barcelona would have signed him instead
  14. All owners are 'in it for the money' mate. We could do far far worse than FSG, even if they aren't perfect. I've said that from the very start of their reign. The merging of Kirkby and Melwood training facilities, bringing the first and youth players together at Klopps request abta cost of over £50m is another example of the good they've done for the club. As I say, not perfect, but certainly one of the better ownerships compared to some/most of the other big clubs in England. The American owners previous to FSG though.... different kettle of fish altogether.
  15. Expansion of Anfield Rd End (making Anfields capacity around 61'112k) to be completed withing 2 - 2 1/2 years along with the completion of the new merged training ground. FSG out
  16. Great if he renews. The complete player, can play almost anywhere to a high standard. Hes played number 6, number 8, in the front 3 and even at CB. Very underatted by some.
  17. No not at all mate, your post just reminded me of the discussion a few of us had at the time regarding our defending that's all. Maybe wasnt you who said clean sheets were overrated btw?! Someone on here definitely said it though
  18. Not everyone is the same, I understand that. But I'm one of those that would much rather us win 2 - 0 than 8 - 3. I love a clean sheet because it means the team as a whole are playing well defensively as well as in an attacking sense. So yeah, earlier in the season I made a few light hearted comments about it annoying me that we were giving away silly goals in most games. Shoot me. I never said we were shite defensively though and even laughed at certain people on here who said we were. I just wanted us to improve slightly defensively and we have, largely because (as you say) we are much more settled now with our first choice goalkeeper and defenders. I remember you Mike saying at the time that clean sheets were overrated. Well I said at the time that I disagreed and I disagree now. It's obvious isnt it? If you dont concede then you cant lose. And with the attacking options we have it is always likely we will score a goal, which means we win the game. Clean sheets are just as important as goals in my opinion.
  19. Cheers pal. Off the top of my head ... Cuhna, Ekellemkamp are two I got very young and turned into 88/90 ratings. I've got a few more as well but cant remember how to spell them Haha. Think almayda might be another? Got a Turkish goalkeeper that is now rated 88 at 24 years old and a centre half exactly same but cant even attempt to spell their names. I'll post them later. Both really cheap to buy young.
  20. Ok so I cant be bothered to scroll through all this thread for the answer I need soooo.... I started career mode in league 2 with Mansfield. After about 5 seasons I had got to the Premier league, won the LC, won the Europe League and was on the cusp of winning the premier league when Man City offered me a job. I took the job and sold all their best players for peanuts but now I'm bored and want to start a new career taking it more seriously. I'm thinking of starting with Leeds. So my question is... what's the best young players to buy that are attainable. I've got a few from my Mansfield days and will post them when I get home, as I'm currently at work.
