Oooof, that brought a tear to my eyes. My first and so far only F1 race I witnessed was at the Nürburgring in 2013, and I saw Jules live, at the drivers parade, and in the race. And I think that was the race where his car broke down and he it was on the sidelines but somehow it rolled back onto the track? Anyway, Jules was a lovely lad, and so so talented. Such a shame what happened to him.

I miss Jules. He was without a doubt a great talent. I wonder where he'd be now? Ferrari?

I really didn't expect him to underperform like that. He's not a bad driver, as he showed in the Toro Rosso, so what's the issue? Pressure? Was the car designed to specifically favour Max's style of racing which doesn't suit Pierre? Sure, Max is an incredible talent, but the gap is just too much.
