Varys and Littlefinger would still somehow pull the strings if they stayed true to the books, and there would have been so many more awesome dialogues.

Just finished Bodyguard (2018), starring Richard Madden who played Robb Stark in Game of Thrones. Very decent and thrilling little series. There are talks about a 2nd season, but I think it doesn't really need one, but we'll see.

Also remember when it took a couple of episodes for characters to travel from e.g. King's Landing to Winterfell? Now everyone always fast travels and is at the other end of the world within 5 minutes. Lazy writing. Ofc we don't want an episode of just traveling, but still...

I just hope that one day GRRM is going to finish the books and we'll get a re-make of the show. I loved season 1-4, even 5 and 6... but than it just went downhill so fucking fast. It's a shame really.

I really miss scenes like this. Really makes you realize how good Game of Thrones once was.
