  1. In reverse order of likelihood. Schalke - I do like them and they have a strong history of having American players. Great stadium, and a massive fan base. A big sleeping giant for sure. Freiburg - So incredibly likable the more I read about them. And honestly, they have some players that I really like (Til for one). Augsburg - Bavarian, which is where most of my beer comes from. Very cool looking stadium, kind of under the radar, and honestly, I kind of like that they don't seem to have fans on here. I watched their match against Celle and got really into it. Also, I love their kits, my favorite colors are red and a darker green, so that's brilliant. I was thinking Union, as well, but I like them, but don't love them.
  2. So, I have made some goals this year...I plan to join a Membership group this year, but I'm debating between 3 teams to decide between. Also, I am planning to watch a home match for every team this (some may be replays). It's so incredibly nice to have all the Bundesliga games televised here and on demand.
  3. There were videos of Stroll and Toto riding away in their scooters...was there ever any reason given for such a meeting?
  4. Everything I'm reading is saying that he won't commit until after this season..?

Went to a science museum with the family. All over the place their are signs that says, 'Do Not Touch', and while I was diligent in making sure my kid kept her hands to herself, she someone appears to have nicked the end of a tail or so other bone from the museum.

Exciting day for men's tennis. Two of the future stars in the GS Final, neither have a grand slam title...
  8. Found this video on Youtube tonight, and I thought it was well done, but also reminded me a bit of what @Pyfish is trying to do with his podcast (but in England).

Azarenka is crushing Osaka and I couldn't be happier for her.

Can't believe this is Zverev's first ever major final, and it's going to be a massive event as he'll either play Thiem or Medvedev

Crazy when Zverev does this...lost the first two sets bad, and has now won two sets, and has already broke Busta in the 5th set. C'mon AZ!!

He's always been known to be a bit of a cunt, and this whole thing has just shown why he is labeled as such.

Damnit - Zverev already behind in the semis of the US Open down 5-1 in the first set.
  15. Ha - okay. I don't think I've ever seen or read Athletico Madrid unless it was a typo.

    NFL

    Starts tonight. Texans at Chiefs
  17. If Harit does depart for Atalanata, what the hell is Schalke going to do? Surely it's a common factor that you have to score goals to win, right? The only rumor I see coming to Schalke is Kolasinac (LB) from Arsenal,...but is the goal to really just rely on Uth, Kutucu, Ibisevic to score without much help?
  18. My main point though was Gotze spent more than half his life at a Club, and then left for their rivals, compared to a player (Lewy) that was only there for 4 years before leaving. There are massive differences between those two situations even though they both involve a player moving from Dortmund to Bayern.
  19. Yeah - signed for Dortmund at 8...but I couldn't imagine an 8 year old NOT being a fan of the team he is playing for, especially when it's a powerhouse like Dortmund. And he spent 12 years at BvB before choosing Bayern. I just think that was felt as more of a betrayal than Lewy's case as he was only there for 4 years...I meant he's been at Bayern longer than he was at BvB.
  20. I'll look for it, but there is actual photo evidence I believe on him as a kid wearing the Dortmund kit and I believe playing for them at a young age.
  21. I think there was a lot of reaction with Gotze, as he left his childhood club to that the 'dark side', only to fail miserably and come back. Lewandowski I think was more about seeing the writing on the wall.
