  1. Says the guy from the country of the Kolsch, which is basically water.
  2. Perfect - thanks. In the chart I posted, it had Eintracht Braunschweig at less than 5k, but this one has over 5k which is nice to see.
  3. How much a year is it for Saarbrucken's membership?
  4. Damn - I found this online which shows 'roughly' the same numbers.
  5. I did hear that RB Leipzig has a ridiculous fee which is why their aren't that many memberships sold and how they remain the 50+1 rule. I also couldn't find a Membership chart for 2. Bundesliga, which I imagine would be dominated by HSV and Stuttgart, but who knows. Question: What is the difference between the two levels? What do you get out of the membership as someone who isn't local anymore other than just knowing that you are part of the club and are helping to support it? This concept of membership is just so foreign to the states.
  6. Okay - so I feel like their are some major cities that don't seem to have a decent club. You have Essen (where my wife lived) which is a decent sized city but I think their best team plays in Regionaliga. I spent some time in Bonn, but they don't have a professional team yet are a decent sized club. Yet their are teams like Paderborn which has such a low population and are in the Bundesliga. I was also surprised how many Union Berlin have. I love their fan base, just didn't know it was that many paying fans. Are you a member of Fortuna?
  7. I'll also mention, that I do find it surprising that Union Berlin is not that far behind Hertha, that Bremen are as far back from Frankfurt as they appear to be, and the Leverkusen has more than Dusseldorf.
  8. Is there any valid, publicly released data on the teams and their membership numbers? It's one of the things I absolutely love about German football, the 50+1 rule, and while you have a few teams that skate around it, it's still a good rule and one that should be admired. I did find this chart, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. https://www.statista.com/statistics/595935/german-bundesliga-clubs-member-numbers/
  9. Anyone else follow Sainz and Lando on social media? My God they constantly go at one another in the funniest of ways. This one was from this weekend. This one had me cracking up....
  10. I just noticed the edit you did. haha... Yeah, there is a German institute here in Atlanta, so I figured in 2020 I'll start going and advance my German past Duolingo. haha
  11. I've never visited, but I've heard great things about Aachen. Is the city as great as I've heard?
  12. Who is that? I don't see him listed as a test driver or anything...?
  13. Friday, 18/10/19 Cittadella vs Cosenza Saturday, 19/10/19 Juve Stabia vs Pordenone Pescara vs Spezia Venezia vs Salemitana Virtus Entella vs Trapani Benevento vs Perugia Sunday, 20/10/19 Chievo vs Ascoli Pisa vs Crotone Empoli vs Cremonese

I don't own any thematic sets for some reason. But I do own a couple of Staunton sets which I hold near and dear to my heart.
  15. Johnny does have some absolutely fabulous one liners in there.
  16. I guess Johnny. While I hate the bullying aspect, I feel like he's less of a pussy and a lot funnier. LaRusso seems like the kind of guy who would just put his arm around and console you, instead of telling you what you need to hear, which is get up and quit being a pussy. Although it would have done well for Johnny to beat the shit out of Hawk and his attitude.
  17. I was suggested to watch Dark (German show on Netflix), so it'll be next.

I love chess. Been playing for almost 25 years now probably, play in local and a couple of national tournaments a year. Well done - I'm going to make sure I help my daughter learn how chess works and hopefully love it...then if she does have a passion, I'll pass her was much of my wisdom as I have
  19. And season 2 of Cobra Kai is finished. Pretty good show, didn't expect Season 2 to go THAT way. Interesting to see where they go for Season 3.
  20. Truly unreal what they have done. This year they have dominated, and have been the definition of true team work. I still can't get over that double pit they pulled off months ago with Hamilton and then Bottas. That was simply stunning.
  21. Just finished season 1 of Cobra Kai. Good season, with actually some hilarious moments that got me going.

    Tennis

No I didn't. I think Murray and Fabio are both very twatish. Fabio is definitely on another level. So happy for Medvedev, making his 6th consecutive final against Zverev. It's at 4:30am here, so I may watch it if I can stay up after the F1 race.

Saw this online, so if it's true, it's quite an accurate photo of music nowadays.
