Sorry that offended you. Mr Abramovich will be used in the future along with referring to every footballer as Mr (surname) in the future. It is quite the opposite, there are people that are living off an allegation which unless it is proven to be proximate cause, is unfounded and discriminant. The mere fact he has done deals with the government is the past is not enough, it needs to be proven that he knew Putin was going to invade and was complicit with it. It will be impossible to prove he knew that steel and materials sold in the early 2000's would become tools in an invasion some 15 odd years later. They must prove he knew first hand that Putin was planning an invasion. The onus of proof is on those alleging so good luck with that. Even if he just goes up and states he doesn't know nor was he involved in putin's inner caucus it is enough to get absolution from the fact. Nobody here is condoning what Putin is doing, but perpetuating wrongs in a misplaced sense of "justice" is also not condonable. Until it is proven he has cohorted with Putin, this is just a witch hunt. Russians that have nothing to do with this are now treated like german people were after world war 2.

they have spoken many times about bring a formula one race back to South Africa. Red Bull Racing have done promotions for it. the venue they want to use is a street race in cape town which is boring. Kyalami has been modernised and hosted a world super bikes and V8 super car races in more recent times.

I would concur that Roman has done deals with the state which is not illegal, he has received past benefits from Putin but would agree that Romans involvement in the present is disputed and until th ere is a causal nexus linking Roman to Russia's war, it is a bit like discrimination.

Hoping the NUFC woman's team gets a good crowd at St James Park for their final game. Hopefully the city gets behind them and gives them a full house. Investment in the Womans team is very high on the ownership targets.

We are apparently interested in Olise, as well as other players that seem to be in the young range. Inacio Goncales, Renato Sanches and Olise would be good off season business. -

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the way he ran the club like his gofundme account. -

https://twitter.com/sportingintel/status/1507856401732886542?s=20&t=uFKqunXB2UuC0mS8zm_UdA despite all the silverware won the man United fans think the glazers are the worst owners. interestingly enough Mike Ashley was in 19th place and he had good reason to be hated. there is not a football fan in england that will want Mike Ashley to run their club. I don't see the glazers as the problem but rather those running the club that spent stupid money on bad signings. -

Palace have some interesting assets and the vultures are circling. Olise's 33m release clause is chump change and Guehi and Zaha are going to get mugged. -

was AWOL on the field against City again, and when Liverpool give them another paddling he will be nowhere again. I can't believe goldridge put him as a walk in to the Liverpool team. there is no chance -

I think every team should be mandated to start up an affiliate league for acadamy players that haven't quite made it to earn a basic living while also getting further education to help them on in life. Have premier league sides and championship sides adopt a non league team as a feeder club allowing youth who are not quite good enough to make it at the higher levels to at least get a chance to play and make a living. It may also inject needed money into the grass roots level of the game. -

This week we have been linked with; Dean Henderson - makes sense with Debravka as injury prone as he has been, Henderson is a big upgrade on Darlow and Woodman. Pogba - I doubt it is authentic, but he is another Hatam Ben Arfa type for us, a guy with all the skills but to much mental fragility and no fight. If it was true this type of deal would set us back around 60M which we could get Renato Sanches for less than half that, or a lesser name like In-goem Hwang, or take a chance on Christian Eriksen on a free. Lingard - he hasn't been statistically good for a long time but that is probably due to Man United not being statistically good either, the merry go round of managers doesn't help either. His cup of tea with West Ham gives food for thought and given we are not going to have "winning" expectations in 2022/2023, Lingard should be a sizable upgrade over Jacob Murphy and Almiron -
Americans is a ballsy move. While Henry is a success only when you consider how well John Henry has run the Boston Red Sox, Hicks and Gillette were the polar opposite. The Glazers and Kroenke aren't exactly appeasing the masses. Chelsea FC world got rocked hard

Saw the links with Ben Godfrey, he is bit wild but his pace and mobility may work well with Burns.

playing a weakened team vs Bangladesh because IPL players choose money over nation. not a good look. they need an international off season to play world cups or IPL events

changing managers hasn't helped Watford. it would not be good to abandon lampard at this juncture. the issue isn't him it's the championship level squad

Just my opinion on the Chelsea sanctions. Chelsea FC is a juristic person that exists and operates beyond a director, a director is just a person in the entity. I could happily go along with a sanction that lets money be moved out of the club under the guise of "directors dividends" and benefits, but chelsea's trust account operates independently to Abramovich. Chelsea like all football clubs make money from various sources of income be it sponsorships, tv revenue, competition money, etc. If the money is obtained by the club through the already know sources, why should Chelsea be prohibited from using it?

he and all Russia players must give statements or they will be banned from Wimbledon
-
if he doesn't denounce it he is banned, that is persecution based on preconceived ideas that all Russians are complicit. medvedev has absolutely no reason to be asked this. it is enough to denounce Putin and his cronies, slam the largely ineffective embargos on them. but treating every Russian with contempt is to far.
-
given that medvedev and Chelsea have nothing to do with Putin, or sport with geo political issues. I don't see what it will help and he could flat out lie and nobody will be wiser. what Putin is doing is wrong, but the persecution of Russians just for being Russia is a bridge to far (no pun)

man United are a car wreck, for the billionth time, they need a clean out and someone to come in with a plan. -
Daniel medvedev now has to get up like a puppet and denounce Putin to play. like anyone really needs to be concerned about a tennis player playing tennis. it's gone to far

That is a big deflection, discourse means exchange of views even if parties don't agree. There is no moral obligation to agree, yet the right to have different opinions, whether it is religious, political, socio-economic, yet we live in times with the highest rate of censorship, very similar to countries we accuse of censorship. 20 years ago, nobody would have turned their heads at the idea that a Islamic nation upholding its criminal justice system, executed prisoners that were convicted of terrorism, but we live in times where everyone is out for some kind of virtue grandstanding as "political power" or power in discourse is now deemed to be thee who is most virtuous. Persecuting people based on a prejudice without real cause is no different to what Adolf Hitler did. It is perfectly acceptable to hold Russia accountable, but individuals just because they are russian and rich is a gray area. In my opinion this could have all be prevented if the West was vigilant to its values and when it came to the fore that Russia was amassing troops, the West should have amassed its troops on the Ukrainian and border states borders as a sign that any signs of aggression would be met with a show of unity. but instead those that want to dictate virtue from their ivory towers are the ones with vested interests in this conflict, more bent than the sickle.
-
it still is conjecture. as Russell brand stated in his recent vlog on Trudaeu criticising Putin for for being authoritarian, but did very authoritarian things himself. we can't pander western liberal values until we practice them ourselves. I would like more than conflated conjecture. beyond reasonable doubt before persecuting people or frankly the West is no better.
-
I see conjecture on Abramovich's apparent links to putin yet most of them seem old relating to 2005, and other claims that have never been tested yet the west in 2022 is guilty until proven innocent. the other conjecture is, x invests in a company since 2007, in 2022 it is alleged the company sold materials to the government (big shock this happens a lot), then somehow these exact materials build equipment. We live in a society anaesthetised to due process
