  1. Zlatan has told Dutch press that he wants to work with Ajax when he retires from football.
  2. Yeah as Arsenal were always known to have a similar style as Ajax, Ajax players were always told to join certain clubs which would fit the brand of football. Now Arsenal is a complete shambles with no real style at all, no players would even touch them now.
  3. For a marketing point of view yeah I agree, there is some right crap in this team, let alone wearing any Arsenal shirt.
  4. Can't wait for the season to start! we have the same defence, same midfield minus our best player last year and the same strikeforce, only signed an unknown youth player that will never play in the first team apart from the League Cup. We are putting silly offers in for players, I really cannot wait for this season, BUZZING!
  5. That will be the story of the season, crap team but the kit was nice.
  6. Arsenal are the only big team in the world that has built a new stadium and gone massively backwards. The problem with Arsenal when they sold the club when they moved from Highbury, is that there wasn't a structure in place like there was at Highbury with David Dein. The whole football side was left to 1 man and money was never a problem but it was how it was spent at Arsenal, it was wasted on rubbish because you had a stubborn man in charge who never took any advise.
  7. We need to knock it down and built the club back up from top to the bottom, it is a mess and I do not care what anyone says, I am not really talking just the playing squad, I mean the whole structure of the club. The scouting is shambolic, the transfers are just made from pure desperation, the board is a joke on how they have handled contracts, we need to bring back former players to run things. Where are Arsenal actually going on how they are being run right now, they are not even making money apart from player sales. Arsenal are losing more fans than gaining them, this is just the start and the same old fans get shafted up the backside every season and still accept on how the club is and still only see positives, another huge thing wrong with Arsenal. Arsenal need to learn from Ajax, its clear that the Arsenal board are not bothered that Arsenal will ever win a title again or even finish in the top 4 without huge investment. They just need to start bringing through their own youth even if it means having a few seasons off by building this up, as this would be more accepted as it will be a proper building project and an exciting prospect for the future than this rubbish we have at the the moment. Arsenal really make me fall out of love with football by the way it is, it was last season of Ajax that made me really appreciate football again and I cannot understand why Arsenal cannot do this when we were suppose to be developing youth and Ajax could do it when they are only getting 10 million euros a season through TV. Ajax have managed to be run self sufficient, also have a huge cash reserves in the bank and produce their own players, everything that Arsenal set out to become.
  8. Arsenal are just in a huge mess and it will take years to get out of due to the failings of the last coach and directors.
  9. Ludovit Reis is a great talent, its a shame Barca didnt loan him back, he really has had a full season for such a young age and now his career will slow down now as he will probably be playing for Barcelona B. The transfer hasn't gone down very well, it follows a recent interview also from another Dutch young player at Chelsea called Juan Castilo who said he didnt go to Chelsea to break through to the main team they just offered him more money than he would of been earning at the time at Ajax
  10. Ajax are the verge of signing Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid after his impressive season at Vitesse Arnhem, this really is the team he should of joined in the first place.
  11. Ajax have all but sealed the Dutch title after their 4-1 win over Utrecht and PSV lost away 1-0 to AZ Alkmaar.
  12. Amazing Support from Ajax fans in Rotterdam.
  13. Ajax won the Dutch cup today 4-0 against Willem II. They are also close to winning the league as well as close to making the final of the Champions League, What a season!
  14. Miedema won the footballer of the year
  15. I went to see A Dutch womens match at the European cup in 2017. Was impressed by the quality.
  16. Yeah i saw, first time in 7 years. Thanks to goals from topscorer Miedema.
  17. The F Side of Ajax have already held banners up about the Transfer saying he is not welcome at the club. so not sure how the future will be for him, its just going to be a rocky start and I hope he has the mental strength to get through it. I am sure he will be accepted but will just take time.
  18. Ajax fans are still very unhappy over this transfer, I hope the boy can survive and manage to get the fans on his side otherwise his career won't last long at Ajax.
  19. I think it was the system at Southampton, when Koeman was at Southampton they played some great football, when Puel, Pellegrino and Hughes were in charge they played a terrible defensive style which didn't suit Tadic at all. Now he is at Ajax he is really about to showcase his attacking ability again, plus he has lived in the Netherlands for a number of years before Southampton, he actually said he prefers life in the Netherlands than England in an interview as that was his reason for going back to The Netherlands.
  20. Tadic has been quality since signing for Ajax not just in the League but also in the Champions League, he has played in The Netherlands for a number of years before he went to Southampton, so was no surprise as he is quite highly regarded in The Eredivisie.
  21. This is more to do with the system Johan Cruyff installed at the club several years ago, bringing Ajax to the same model of the past to how it brought them success but with ex footballers running the club from top to bottom. Ajax's recruiting and scouting over the past years has been extremely successful which has led to Ajax making huge profits on players, now they are not in a position to sell players cheap unless it is on their terms.
