  2. We only do one-half games. Play well in one, disgusting in the other. The unpredictability fools some teams
  3. Man doesn't even know what week it is
  4. Beever-Jones only came on after 78 mins ffs.
  5. Just seen the penalty they weren't given. What a shocking decision Ayew hasn't even slightly pulled him back. He's held on for long enough. Surprised Taylor saw it as 'inconsequential' as it appeared if he wasn't held back he might have been able to get closer to the ball. But we've had 2 equally bad officiating decisions go against us already this season so if this is going towards luck being even, so be it...
  6. We're not finishing closer to Europe than relegation. Would happily donate a hefty sum of money to the site if that did happen. Not watched the game back or any highlights as was at a wedding, but pretty much gave up hope at 2-0 down. Game seemed to turn when Fatawu was brought on. Will take a win at any cost, even with a scuffed Jordan Ayew stoppage time winner

  9. I think we like to make things difficult than they need to be, and I still see a fragility in our team, both physically and mentally. Just got a feeling Southampton will also see this as a winnable game. I've still got memories of the game 2 seasons ago - we saw it as winnable, get season back on track/kickstart it etc. We missed a few chances and they win with a solitary goal. If we approach the game like we did last season, with a high press and hassling their defenders as they love to play out from the back, I think we'll do well. Another reason why I can see him starting Ayew, even though Fatawu is showing him up defensively. He's got a fascination with him even though he does nothing for us in an attacking sense. Ayew is the perfect player to help see out a game, not get us into the winning positions to protect.

  13. Very tragic such a young life is lost. Apparently fell from his hotel room balcony in Argentina. RIP.
  14. It's even funnier as well because there was only 3 days between the articles/tweets
  15. Sam Wallace at Telegraph was lauding Pep to be new England manager, lapping it up. Tuchel is appointed and he is bemoaning that it's a foreign manager taking charge, despite the Pep love-in.

  21. Wonder how the wonderkids will tolerate his direct and blunt approach. Gut instinct is that it won't be a good fit.
