Southampton bit nervous to begin with but now starting to play. Think Armstrong should have shot.

That said we have a new guy in our office, he's a match going Blue, been going since they were shit. Was there today as well. He reminds me why I hate the original City fans. He still calls us rags, he still uses the Old Trafford isn't in Manchester line. He even called Old Trafford the swamp the other day.
Pathetic support
Pathetic support because he hates everything about his rivals?

When is the return leg?

Deserved for Man Utd. Had a game plan and stuck to it. Man City barely had any answers despite Doku making a difference along with the goal.
Foden and De Bruyne were the worst two. Gave Haaland nothing, and neither did Man Utd's defence. Mainoo and Wan-Bissaka were very good.

Rodri fuming that Man Utd aren't playing football how he thinks they should.

Wow, did not expect this.
Man Utd actually playing okay and to to a game plan.

Calamitous from Man City.

Yes and is that a problem? Even if it wasn't I would prefer city to win, city are a better team and there legal "issues" are to be determined,I am not going to join the angst pose just because it is fashionable to hate success.
Didn't say it was a problem. Just didn't think it was an attractive competition to play in.

Must be feeling very confident now @Tommy going into the 2nd leg.
Good luck!

If United win aren't Newcastle completely out of Europe?
I believe so, as Man Utd would get the Europa League qualification spot and Chelsea get the Europa Conference League spot.

The original statement came from a Newcastle fan, @OrangeKhrush to be exact, last time I checked they were in the EPL.
I know. But that's not who you quoted or replied to .
As for the edit in your post, again you conflate. You reference comments about Bayern when Leverkusen have won. But the context you totally ignore.

Well, that's laughable. Regardless whether they won the UEFA Gup before or not. It's like saying winning the Europa League would had meant more to Liverpool than winning the title. The league is the most important competition for any club, regardless, if some English Premier League fans, whether local or from abroad, are interested in it or not. The EPL' s fans isn't that decessive for a foreign club's self-assessment, believe it or not!
He did say at the start of his sentence that winning this wouldn't have been worth a lot more to them?
Once again you make reference to 'English Premier League fans' despite a) other English fans agreeing that Europa League wouldn't have meant more and b) Blackburn aren't in the Premier League.
I go back to what I said the other week - you have a clear dislike of fans of all English clubs and will use any opportunity to slate them. Just because one or two, or even a few, English fans say something you disagree with doesn't mean it is indicative of all English fans. Stop tarring us with a brush you love to use constantly.

I want City to win this one.
Which means you'll play in Europa Conference League...

He has been at Palace his entire career, made sense.
Or didn't want to be associated with the Saudis through Newcastle...

It is pretty wrong, if he is found guilty will he get 10 months with a suspended sentence like Tonali? or do the FA go softer and give like 6 with a suspended 6.
I think they'll go harder.

That can't be all there is though as it doesn't say much. If they have evidence of him betting that he'll get a yellow or anything like that, then it's a wrap.
Seems like they do

If he wasn't being charged, no one would think anything of these incidents other than he's a bit rash. So the incidents by themselves don't really reveal too much. Will be interesting to see the evidence The FA have as that's probably much more damning.
That must be part of the evidence, surely? As in they're literally 4 of the offences referenced by the FA.

No nerves there as Armstrong breaks free and scores past Meslier with composure.
Leeds' defensive line non-existent.
