@The Palace Fan what do you prefer mate? Sainsburys or Tesco?
  2. Very lengthy season, though! How long before it goes to January/February and then there's very little testing time other than the August break. Only 10 years ago it was March to October.
  3. 2019 F1 season to end in December https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/45367520
  4. Looks like he took the wrong turn too early. Glad he's alright.

He'll be a quality player. Sometimes you just get a feeling about a player who will go on to be a star and he is one of them. Literally 'no fucks given' approach with some great shots against one of the best bowling attacks in the world. Putting the rest of the England side to shame.
  6. should have bolded the last quote which would explain in some part why Grealish/Maddison aren't there.
  7. "We're coming off the back of a successful tournament so not a lot has changed," he says. "With us only being three games into the season, I felt some continuity was important. Those who were with us in the summer deserve the right to go again. "We wanted some continuity and we've had some mature conversations with players like Jamie Vardy, Gary Cahill and Ashley Young over the desire to look at younger players, and of course we had two injuries. "We won't stand still. We've added young players Luke Shaw and Joe Gomez. "We're aware of the excitement around some other young players but we think it's a bit early for them."
  8. now that we've established that Man Utd play Burnley next, how long do you think Mourinho has? Do you reckon he'll make it to the CL games? @Teso dos Bichos
  9. good to hear from you. How long you reckon Mourinho has? Will he make the CL games?

  11. is @Teso dos Bichos still alive? seems to have gone quiet for a couple of weeks...
  12. heard on the radio earlier and mentioned it in the EFL Cup thread - Matt Ritchie and Jamaal Lascelles had a training ground 'bust-up' and allegedly had to be separated by teammates. @Harvsky @Rafa Beneathus @Julio Geordio Do you know what happened?
  13. FA submit bid to hold Women's Euro Championship in 2021 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45329737
  14. Don't mind that from Vardy. I expect Southgate's comments a few weeks ago about bringing more youth in for future tournaments played a part but it benefits us so can't complain. He's played at Euros and World Cup which is more than he probably ever dreamed of. I presume if there's an injury crisis Southgate can still turn to him.

@RandoEFC I'd be careful talking to @Toinho. Before you know it you'll be in Japan.

I can imagine this is @Bluewolf... and this at the same time...
  17. If you've ever struck a shot as sweetly as this and see it sail in to the top corner, you'll appreciate this...
  18. And wiping the saltiness off his broken heart too
  19. looks like his rear wheels locked up and they mentioned it could have been his breaks failing on him hence why he couldn't prevent going right in to the back.
  20. Hulkenberg's breaks fail and he smashes in to the back of Alonso, who then goes over the top of Leclerc. Big crash but could have been worse if more involved!
  21. wow Alonso crashes and flies over another car.
  22. absolute carnage, that. I only had very vague memories of it.
  23. nothing like a bit of rain to make it exciting

Myself and @DeadLinesman prefer a full Portuguese breakfast but each to their own! @Cannabis caught us having one once without him and he was not happy.
