  5. It's not been the most competitive outside of the top 2/3 in recent seasons. The gap between Championship and Premier League is widening, I think. It's ultra-competitive in the Championship as almost always there's battles going down right til the final day of the season (this season was a bit of an anomaly, mind). This means a 'weaker' side can often find themselves promoted almost as if they're not ready to be because of the gulf between the two leagues. The money in the game has corrupted it beyond the point of no return. I've seen so many fans waver with their support for the game these days, let alone support for their own team. And that's a sad time for the game because it's not what we all know it to be.
  6. De Bruyne is so good. There's the goal Man City needed. How no one tracks the Haaland run is beyond me though.
  7. Spurs have done alright to be fair and there's no signs of rolling over. The best chance being that Foden one bringing out a quality save from Vicario. Man City have it in them to pull something out of the bag though, in the same vein that Spurs have some sloppiness within them to gift a chance.
  8. Hope you're ready for a John C Reilly gif...

  10. Knowing Spurs they'll fuck up vs Sheff Utd in this scenario...
  11. Salah's turn to add his name to the miss of the season category. Offside but still terrible.
  12. Week 39 Results Celtic 2-1 Rangers Villarreal 3-2 Sevilla Napoli 0-2 Bologna Kiel 1-1 Dusseldorf Anderlecht 2-1 Genk Flamengo 2-0 Corinthians Toronto 2-3 NYCFC Norwich 0-0 Leeds Man Utd Women 4-0 Tottenham Women Rennes 1-1 Lens Round-up This time of season there's lots of key games contested and changes in tables in key positions. However, on the latter point, not so much in this league! No movement in the table where the highest score was from myself with 18 points to surpass 500 points. Top 3 all achieved 2 perfect scores each, and @Bluebird Hewitt in 3rd did well to score 15 points. @Tommy missed out on the chance to capitalise on @Viva la FCB's low score. A welcome return to the competition to @Pyfish but it might be a little late to catch up on @nawoo!
  13. Turns out that's a 'whoscored.com' team of the season, not the actual one.
  14. To be fair, it is a decent recreation of that 98/99 kit.
  15. Some kind of sick joke EFL are playing that Szmodics is nowhere to be seen despite smashing in goals all season Not sure what Ruddy is doing there either.
  16. @Pyfish @Rucksackfranzose @Bluebird Hewitt @Viva la FCB @Tommy @nawoo @CaaC (John)
