  1. I though about doing this too So will do similar
  2. I think this is the way it is for so many. Almost as if if you're older than 20ish, you had at least a taste of what football used to be like before foreign investment really took off. Younger than that and that's all you'll know.
  3. Yeah you answer your own question in the 2nd paragraph. Might have generated the excitement. But excitement doesn't fill the pockets of these people...
  4. I think that's the latest in a season someone has done their predictions
  5. Palmer saving Pochettino once again. Both sides' defences are horrendous. What are Man Utd playing at not just keeping their heads when it went to 3-3. Even if they're going for the win they left 1 player back. Then lost all concentration for the corner.
  6. Palmer has saved Chelsea arses there. Man Utd. Joke of a club.
  7. Silly from Dalot. Got himself in such a bad position.
  8. He's not had the best of seasons to be fair. But took the header well. When is TAA back?
  9. Chelsea vs Utd is such an open game. Bound to be more goals surely?!
  10. Robertson makes such a difference to Liverpool's attacking play.
  11. Expected more from Liverpool. But they're winning and only the points matter at this stage of the season...
  12. I can't remember if it was Richard Masters or another bigwig at PL, but they showed their true colours when they said 'we can't have too many Leicester City's' after 2016.
  13. Sheff Utd had two big chances to take the lead in first 2 mins.
  14. all kick-offs 14.30 (BST) unless stated Friday 5th April, 2024 Eintracht Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen Saturday 6th April, 2024 Heidenheim vs Bayer Munich Koln vs VfL Bochum Union Berlin vs Bayer Leverkusen Mainz vs Darmstadt Freiburg vs RB Leipzig Borussia Dortmund vs VfB Stuttgart, 17.30 Sunday 7th April, 2024 Hoffenheim vs Augsburg VfL Wolfsburg vs Borussia Monchengladbach, 16.30
  15. It does state in the article that there could be an 'emergency fund' for teams down the football leagues, but whether that comes to fruition is another matter. As you mention though, the biggest flaw is that the richest teams can continue to just spend because their owners have those deep, deep pockets. I can't foresee the 'anchoring' rule coming in whereby they can only spend by a certain factor of what the bottom club's wage bill is, either. Especially if they're so worried about wanting PL to remain 'best league in the world' and attract the best players (one of which left UK to play in Spain...).
  16. Premier League clubs to vote on 'radical' changes. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13271249/Premier-League-eyeing-ABOLISHING-points-deductions-introducing-NBA-style-luxury-tax-fears-stars-leave-rules-restrict-pay-Everton-Nottingham-Forest-lost-points.html?ico=authors_pagination_desktop

    Cooking

Starters: Chicken skewers with some form of barbecue or Asian-style marinade. Main: Lamb keema with rice and naan bread
  18. Apologies, meant Man City away from home. Last 8 in the league: Only 2 wins out of 8.
  19. Pole Position - Which driver will post the fastest lap in Q3? Verstappen Podium - Which drivers will finish the Grand Prix in the top three positions AFTER MAX VERSTAPPEN IS REMOVED FROM THE RESULTS? 1. PEREZ 2. LECLERC 3. SAINZ Random Driver - Predict the finishing position of this week's random driver, Pierre Gasly. 14th Bonus Question - We've done this one before - which driver's finishing position will outperform their current Drivers' Championship position by the most places? E.G. if Carlos Sainz finishes 2nd, he will have outperformed his current position in the Drivers' Championship (4th) by 2 places. If nobody picks the "biggest overperformer", then I'm going to give the full 5 points rather than 2 consolation points to whoever makes the best pick. ALBON
