  2. There's absolutely no such thing as a dangerous political leader in an advanced western country. Even Trump is all blah blah blah with a self obsessed rhetoric and no foundation to anything... The guy's a comedy show in itself and has worked wonders for politics and highlighting it. How is Boris a danger to anything? How's he a more of a danger than anyone else! People don't rule... Those with the quorn rule! Don't make any mistake about it. Everyone else thinking they have some sort of understanding on what's better in the spectrum we're offered today is just a fool and ignore them. There's nothing better in this world than being entertained because if you think for a single second there's something out there in politics that will really change your life unless they're forced to do so due to unforeseen occurrences, then you're more the fool mate!

  4. The thought isn't scary mate. The reality is.

  6. I think something interesting is brewing at Real Madrid with the more than probable acquisition of Kilyan Mbappé from AS Monaco. There are very interesting rumours with important sources saying that Gareth Bale could be out of the door... Bale in general and aside from some sporadic moments has failed at Real Madrid with head coach Zinedine Zidane not seeing him as a reliable source within his squad. Aside from his countless injuries, the main factor is that the whole setup of the team has to change so as Bale can play and Zidane isn't up for the labour of being party to this. Gareth Bale's biggest validator since arriving at the Santiago Bernabéu has always been the club President Florentino Pérez and several coaches that have passed through those doors in recent times have raised the same issues and a couple have even spoken out after departing Real Madrid that they were made to feel forced to play the Welsh footballer so as to accommodate a three pronged attack on the other two "musts" in the team (Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema). If these rumours that on the almost certain arrival of Mbappé at Real Madrid comes to fruition... Where would Gareth Bale be more inclined to move to? Manchester United has been a constant earmarked destination in the past but then there's also Cristiano Ronaldo's desire to depart with Man Utd also being a probable destination. What's about to occur at the Santiago Bernabéu looks more than just interesting.
  7. I swear to you that I would LOVE to see the comedy value of Boris as Primer Minister. I'm not joking! Because at the end of the day it doesn't matter which government gets into power or who leads it. It's always the same! I know I am being cynical, but that's the way it is.
  8. Boris Johnson? If there were a General Election tomorrow and Boris Johnson represented the Tories as leader, I'd be very very tempted to vote for him. The comedy factor I'd get seeing him lead the nation far outlays pretending I've voted for something that really will change things for the better.
  9. First of all, all associated with this have stated that it isn't true that Barcelona have signed him including the club itself. But aside from that, I agree with everything you've said and this particular Barcelona board are right at this moment treading on thin ice. Because clubs like Barça and Real Madrid aren't like Arsenal for example... Where at Arsenal there's been mass demonstrations and all sorts occurring over the past two season by fans... At clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid there'd be elections and everyone's job would be on the line. That's the beauty of association football... The ideals the sport was built on with the fans being in charge! There are movements picking up in a very strong manner now against the present board on several fronts. So anything that they do now will be analysed with microscopes. Everything! Including big name targets in the press lately like Marco Verratti and Ousmane Dembélé. Signing important players is paramount as it's always been even in the various golden generations from La Masia, but not at any cost because there is a budget. Barcelona are eternally in the top three richest clubs on the planet, but there are also massive expenditures at the club on wages and all the competitive sporting sections they have ranging from Basketball all the way down to Roller Hockey. There is a massive responsibility that the board have in maintaining everything that the club is all about and if they don't manage to combine all of this while maintaining competitiveness on all fronts, then they will be brought to task. I've read quite a bit on Neymar's father and even the ridiculous contract Barça paid for included in Neymar's signing with a company that his father owns that researches players in Brazil. If these are the finding s he's obtained, players everyone already knows, then there are big problems and makes it all evident how Neymar's transfer fee was a hell of a lot higher than was announced as €47m. Put it this way... Vinícius Júnior's father was in Barcelona to finalise the signing for his son to the club and SOMEONE (the name hasn't been made available which is against the statutes at the club) left the man stranded and telling him to return to Brazil. Later on in the week he signed for Real Madrid. There is some real dodgy stuff going on right now and the Verratti interest and panic to try and sign him is the cover to hide something important. The board feel that if they sign someone that really fits like Verratti, that the wolves at their doorstep will be scared away for a while.
  10. I've heard that the quality of the material they use to make Ghanaian passports is indeed awful and can change you into a different human being!!!
  11. He is decent and a good enough replacement to be honest. But anyone called "Quincy" makes me laugh hahaha... Not only because it reminds me of an 80s series but also because it reminds me of that crap player we had at Arsenal which I can't remember his whole name but he definitely beat Cristiano Ronaldo on the amount of pointless step-overs a player can to to do a simple move... What was his name? Quincy Obi One Kinobi?
  12. That is hilarious to be honest! But in truth it's not the mention of Real Madrid and it is debating something that has no relevance to the thread. Yesterday I complained about the same thing in the Real Madrid thread.
  13. This is the ongoing war between some of the Madrid press, journalists and Florentino Pérez. They're attacking Florentino Pérez and they think that in doing so, that they're not attacking the club and are actually doing something in their benefit. The main newspaper is AS who are and have been extremely ant-Florentino Pérez for various years now. It's curious because AS is the most fervent supporter of Real Madrid between the Madrid based publications and yet they'll choose any slight chink in the armour of Real Madrid a reason to attack the president. In truth though... There are many Real Madrid fans that want the president out but can't do anything right now because of the results.
  14. It could be as you say and it would make sense. Although on a free isn't a problem and it won't get the fans up in arms all that much. The problem is watching homegrown players going off to other clubs. On that note the board could find major problems and players like Lucas Lima could receive the brunt of something that's not his fault.
  15. I don't know enough about Lucas Lima apart from some games he's played for Brazil. I have heard he is very good but then again I haven't got enough knowledge on him to comment, maybe @El_Loco our resident Brazilian friend has. On the note about what's happening in general with La Masia players... I agree! Barcelona only the other day let another very talented one go to AS Monaco and it seems this board has no idea what they're doing in that sense right now and there is currently a movement to call elections early from some powerful Barça members.
  16. Don't trust either report mate... I was laughing as I posted the original one with the poker game and all that and then this one where supposedly a Barça employee has said it isn't true. Remember that in this case we have a war between two Barcelona based newspapers (SPORT and Mundo Deportivo) which explains what's going on. What's for sure is that Barça people are indeed in Brazil talking to the player because his contract runs out at the end of December and would be a free agent in January.
  17. According to a source from Barça, the Lucas Lima story isn't true... El Barça mantiene que no hay “nada de nada” con Lucas Lima
  18. Lucas Lima confirms that he will be playing at Barça in 2018 According to reports coming from Brazil (Globoesporte) Lucas Lima will be playing for FC Barcelona in 2018. The story is a rather strange one in my opinion because it's come from an odd situation where Neymar was playing poker with Lucas Lima including another 50 people. If true, his arrival would happen once his contract runs out with Santos on the 1st of January 2018. Lucas Lima confirma que jugará en el Barça en 2018
  19. Firstly let me say that I don't hate Real Madrid CF as an entity. My past on the other forum where I started the RM thread with everything I've ever written is there to see by everyone. I have no idea what some other posts on another thread referring to "toxic" posts mean... Maybe there were, but never from me as I think in general I've always been balanced. Indeed my "hatred" if you want to use that word, has intensified with Florentino Pérez and things I follow within Spanish football (the every day things) that don't get to be talked about on here as I would be posting everyday if that were the case and I can't be doing that as I don't have the time. As a Barça "supporter" "sympathiser" of course the rivalry is intense, but that's totally normal and something that has always been there and will continue to be there. But I'm not irrational with a hatred that has no foundation. Many of my Spanish friends both here in the UK and in Spain are Real Madrid fans, I would say the majority, and we have a laugh with the banter both when we're together over some drinks and on WhatsApp I won't even go into the things said! But!!! There is a BUT!... With people that don't follow the Spanish league in detail, also with people which I consider to follow either a club or individuals, then I have no mercy with those sorts! I don't consider them to be football fans and do consider them as trend followers which means I can't think and feel seriously about them and most of what I either hear from them (not much on the hearing stakes as I don't associate with people like that in my everyday life) or read from them. When you know about something and then you read what someone else has written with the intention of "fandom" (which is totally different to being a fan) it really grates on me. A big part of that is because for example the people on here on the most part follow Spanish football from afar and won't be reading the ins and outs on details every day. So someone comes on here spouting rubbish or depicting news reels from biased journalism, it makes me feel that the whole thing is being derailed and the hard work that goes into it, ends up being petty remarks and digs at one another, myself getting involved and included unfortunately. But on the whole, in the real world, the football world, yes my "hate" (if you want to call it that) has intensified since Florentino Pérez has been president and nothing to do with winning but everything to do with other factors. Real Madrid's real fanbase itself is split on Florentino Pérez with half thanking him for various things from taking the club out from the financial hell hole it was in in his first stint in charge and returning the club to being a serious entity in European football. The other side of their fanbase hate him because they see him as having stolen the soul from the club and what it was originally known for "Señorío" (being gentlemanly) and is now known as a club that plays the political scene in such a way that it has all gone beyond sport. But I won't go into that last part. The reason I've made the post so long is because certain things can't be answered with a simple yes or no in life when there are others that are too quick to make a cheap quip.

So you really liked the place. Would you consider living there?
  21. It wasn't too difficult as there weren't any other candidates and he ran on his own which meant that as the sole option, there was no vote for the "socios" to state their preference on. The problem with any serious candidate appearing in the future with the change in the club's constitution and statutes set by Florentino Pérez on his return as president some years back means that it's almost nigh on impossible. He has fervent detractors and people against him (very strong people), but the rules set by him have made it very difficult indeed and with no guarantee of winning, nobody is willing to try right now. They (those that are against him) were hoping that their season ended up in a blank which it could've. That's the only way to make a movement for censure on certain aspects of his governance. They'll just bide their time for now.
  22. No it's not! You're derailing the thread with absolute rubbish. Where's the debate and what's all this "my team is better than your team" shit. You're a bloody child or an idiot... What is it? It's crap! It's social media nonsense that belongs there. There is hard work here and I even post Real Madrid news on the pertinent thread without all the crap trying to mess it up and post negative bollocks. Look... It's fine! If this is what stimulates your small brain, then great. But I'm not gonna be a part of this because for me this isn't what I'm here for. All you do is post news casts that benefit your frame of mind and then you never debate anything. All you do is search for a manner to try an take a swipe. You know nothing about football Teso. Anyway... This is the final post I make on TF365 until this mess is cleaned up. Why are you even posting Real Madrid stuff on this thread anyway? Post it in the correct thread and have fun. You're an absolute moron!
  23. This crap is derailing the thread... If this crap with Teso continues I'll just give up on this. I'm not in this for this type of crap that has nothing to do with football. I don't mind a joke and a laugh but this is just pure bullshit which isn't a stimulant for football debate, isn't serious and is just an attempt at being retarded. Some of these posts can either be deleted or be placed in a pertinent thread. I don't want them here.
  24. I've never said we aren't spending money. I've said quite the opposite! We spend tons load and especially on wages. We are badly managed.
