  1. What a great role model for the kids, good idea having him play with them
  2. Thought that bear they fought was awful. It looked like a cheap 1980s film.
  3. Stoke fans on Twitter seem annoyed he is being sold.
  4. Just watched the 'Mike Ashley: Talking Direct' interview that was on Sky last night. Usual crock of shit full of contradictions. He talks about how he wants to grow revenue etc, look at this One of the worst most incompetent businessmen in football
  5. What has that got to do with the price of eggs in Aston?
  6. Mike Ashley has been on skysports saying he is not wealthy enough for us to compete with teams who have the financial backing of countries

I've got £2.16 on Arsenal to come from behind and win at 7/1 Do it
  8. How long do we have to wait for the big ugly Picts to cross the Antonine wall. The Yorkshiremen are waiting.
  9. Jermaine Pennant has joined Billericay Town It's intriguing how some players collapse down the league's at 30 and others don't
  10. My sources tell me that a certain player has been sold, I can't say who as I don't want to be exposed as the mole. I've checked twitter and there isn't a single word of it. Lets just say it's a sale that will be celebrated
  11. Yep we should be preparing for the Premier League by playing better teams than us. Not Hellas Verona and Wolfsburg reserves.
  12. Perez was decent today. However Hellas Verona were shit so impossible to read anything into it.
  13. Some injury problem with Gayle. Not playing today. We are in trouble. Going into the season with Mitrovic and Perez upfront who weren't good enough to keep us up last time.
  14. Tax loophole that lets them declare a proportion of their wages as a payment for their "image rights" taxed at 20% instead of their wages being for the actual work they do like the rest of us have to pay. Other than the Queen, Premier League footballers are the last people who should be talking about giving an "extra" 1%. This is a group who upscale their mansions and cars by reducing the amount they have to pay to schools, hospitals, welfare and the infrastructure we depend on to generate wealth. Mata is having an existential crisis which is very common among all people of a good nature regardless of their wealth. I just challenge the notion that 1% is somehow an acceptable answer to that crisis from the position footballers are in.
  15. 1% of the disposable income off an £80k a week salary is £22k, leaving £2.178m to buy a few fast cars and designer jeans with holes in the knee caps.
  16. I wonder if Mata will be using the scandalous loop hole that allows rich footballers to donate £50,000 to charity per annum and have the same amount deducted from their tax "burden" if they declare it on their SA form ?
  17. Some Man Utd players are paying 20% tax on their wages rather than 45% so why doesn't Mata propose they donate 25% of their salary to charity?
  18. In real terms it's like me putting 50p in a Guide Dogs for the Blind box at the till in Wilko's and announcing it on Facebook
  19. And I say HEY! What a wonderful kind of day. If you can learn to work and play, and get along with each other
