  1. Klopp has actually asked me to be tea boy.
  2. If he stays fit then it’s a great signing for them
  3. Apologies for hijacking this topic with Liverpool crack @LFCMadLad The transfer window is open. You have said it at least twice in your last few posts that we should leave things up to the club, and that I “think I know better” because I said I wanted Havertz. You’re the only one talking like a child here, and it’s staggering how ignorant you are.
  4. Team is definitely going to burn out eventually. You can’t expect the same 8-9 players to continue maintain these levels of effort.
  5. You talk shite. Why are you even a member of this forum if you don’t want to discuss anything? @Stan no more talking about who you want Leicester to sign cause it’s not your decision in the end. @Cicero same with you with Chelsea mate, give up the Telles crack. @DeadLinesman you can stop talking about how you want Lingard to be given a new 5 year deal, it’s up to the officials at the club to make that decision. Shut the website down.
  6. Coming from a guy who made a topic called “ManFIFA Utd”, you telling me to stop talking just isn’t going to happen. I am allowed to want certain players signed. If it’s not up for discussion, and tactics aren’t up for discussion then why the fuck are we members of a football discussion board? Edit: You have just said yourself that you wished we had signed him. Christ, make up your mind.
  7. Are these players all guaranteed a place in the first 11 until they retire then? Club will never build on this success if we don’t improve the squad! Wish people would stop acting like it’s silly to be looking towards the future. Sick of this debate.
  8. Because I like him. He’s massively talented and would have been perfect for us.
  9. I’m seriously gutted that Havertz is going to Chelsea
  10. The Disaster Artist - 6/10 Ant-Man & The Wasp - 8.5/10 Both Ant-Man films are some of my favourites in the MCU. This second was better than the first, so enjoyable.
  11. Football shouldnt be just about stats. DeBruyne has the assists and some goals, but he doesnt compare to Henderson when it comes to leadership, tenacity and the power to push every single player around him to be better when the chips are down. Henderson is deserving of the award for me. DeBruyne is more talented (the best in the league) but Henderson has been absolutely pivotal for the title winners this season.
  12. No listen, I agree full with everything. I’m just replying to madlad who has said that quite a few times now.
  13. You’ve said this a few times now, and I’d really love to go back in time to see what you, yourself were saying about him during the years that he was struggling here. He was offered to Fulham for a reason; because he wasn’t performing. It’s weird to say “HA! I told you so!” Because the fact of the matter is he wasn’t good enough AT THE TIME. He has improved immensely as a player and as a captain. Sick of this narrative that he was was some sort of young generational talent that people were giving stick to, because it just wasn’t the case at all.
  14. Why sell Emerson and keep that shithouse Alonso?
  15. I’d not be too pleased with that if I was a Utd fan. A three year deal for a man who up until the last few weeks was massively underperforming and had most Utd fans wanting him out. Maybe he’s found his feet again, but I wouldn’t be surprised if next season he reverts back to a man who looks a a lot older than he is. That being said, I can appreciate him wearing a suit to re-sign. I like the showing of respect.
  16. Fucking outrageous. I made a joke in the city game thread about this but didn’t actually think Arsenal would be THAT pathetic. Officially done as a top club for for me, you can’t continue to make these sort of signings and expect other players to want to come. Reminds me so much of us under Roy Hodgson, where we were fucking god awful and mid table. The signings in that era were disgusting for the most part, Arsenal doing their best to match it.
  17. Well...Werner for one. You dont go for players just to fill the numbers, I'm walking about bringing in players who are going to push those front three for a spot.
  18. Having watched quite a bit of Leverkusen, I think Havertz would be perfect for us. Not that it’s going to ever happen.
  19. So, pubs and restaurants are allowed to open yet bowling alleys aren’t? The reasoning? The lack of consistency is infuriating.
  20. I forgot about Hazard, fair point. Its easy to say “trust them” but what’s your opinion on Origi being a back up to the front three? Do you think he is reliable enough if we get a long term injury?
  21. So with the rumblings of no major signings in the upcoming window, I was wondering what everybody’s take is on the situation? I have made no secret of the fact that I think it’s a mistake. Regardless of the situation with Covid, we simply have to be making some serious additions to this squad. Yes, I can appreciate Coronavirus has impacted spending, but I look over at Chelsea who have spend a healthy sum on Werner and are tipped to spend even more. That is a club that you can compare our situation to; they had two windows where they couldn’t sign anybody so yeah they were able to save up some cash to spend now.....but haven’t we done the same exact thing? Nobody last summer apart from Van DeBerg (1m) and Adrian on a Free and then in January we got Minamino for peanuts. So basically, not much more than Chelsea, and considering some of the wages they pay, it probably evens out in the long term. Add to that they fact we made two champions league finals in a row, won one, and came second in the premier league. All this is more than Chelsea have done, and their revenues and profit margins aren’t comparable. Yes, we are developing the stadium & the training ground, but we really can’t let those be detrimental to the current squad. This team is the best Liverpool team in my lifetime, and we should be capitalising on that by adding quality and keeping it fresh. I’m not happy at all with Origi & Shaqiri being our back ups in attack, Origi has scored some massive goals for us but he is so inconsistent and just can’t be relied on most of the time. Minamino could become very good for us, and Rhian Brewster has done well on loan at Swansea but you can’t hang your hat on them. I don’t want this team burning out because too much is constantly expected of them, they have done amazing for us so far and I have no doubt they can all continue to play at an elite level for another couple of years but history shows that those who stay still for too long will get left behind. I’m not expecting 5/6 new signings for the squad, in fact I’d be very happy with an elite midfielder and another first 11 quality attacker. I’m just frustrasted at the idea of us not taking advantage of how well Klopp has done, give the man more, let him build a dynasty here.
