Keita has limped out of training tonight. Made of glass?
Wonderful.

Yeah with City it was only 2 players. Us was nearly 30 so it’s understandable
Fair enough

Isn't that the same thing Chelsea got the ban for??

Gutted for Allison, but it could have been so much worse. Adrian gonna have to step up big time these next few weeks.
-
I'm just worried if one of our front three get injured. It means a prolonged run in the side for Origi and he is nowhere near the level of our first choice players.
-
I'd like to see more of that on the channel. Great watching and it created a brilliant connection within the squad. That biscuit one was hilarious.

Just seen some clips of Harvey Elliot's performance vs Lyon - looks pretty fucking good for a 16 year old kid
Indeed. So calm and confident, didn't look out of place against grown men
-
You're right, it doesn't guarantee it. But having better quality in the squad can only be a good thing. At the very least we need a back up LB.

You won't be proved wrong. I love Origi and Shaq, but they are a fucking far sight from the likes of Mahrez and Sane on the City bench.
As it stands we aren't gonna finish as close to City as last year. I very much doubt we are gonna bring in two or three new players before next Friday.

Not bothered about the results. These are preseason friendlies. The only issue for me remains lack of signings. We needed a few. And it seems that Klopp has decided to trust the players he already has on the basis of last season. Can't overly criticise him. But I have a bad feeling that we might regret this decision.
We will regret it. As greats as our front three are, you can't rest on your laurels.
Suppose Spurs did it and got to a European final though, so goes both ways haha

I mean there's idiots going overboard and then there's people like me who aren't impressed by the fitness of the players. One week until the season kicks off and we don't look up to scratch. Firmino, Salah and Mane aren't coming back in till this week so they are gonna be even further behind.

Genuinely couldn't give a shit
The players look like they've just come off a three day bender in Vegas.

3-0
This is shite. Don't care if it's pre season. Expect much better from the team at this stage.
...but we don't need any players
-
Yeah, we look very slow doing everything. Most these players have been together a fortnight and considering the season is less than two weeks away you'd expect better.

Who knows how things may have intertwined from all that though?
If he was at sea because of the doping thing and it totally threw him off I can see him feeling it was more than just a cup final missed.
I don't see how his doping fail made him late for numerous team meetings, and the flights overseas. He's a talented lad, and was just coming into his peak with us, but he is also a bellend who didn't respect Klopp enough to follow the rules.

Is Mignolet still the back up?
Frighteningly enough, yes.
-
I mean, I'd definitely sue them if I was him since it caused him to miss out on a final for us. But his Liverpool career was ruined by his own behaviour.
-
Yeah, it's shit for us and the player.
-
Obviously whoever runs their Twitter is a bellend. Obviously, I don't agree with any player intentionally hurting the opposition.
Last night was beyond a joke though. Sevilla were acting as if it was the fucking champions league final the way they were flying into tackles and getting into the refs face. That twat who kicked the lad deserves a fucking ban and fine for that. Ridiculous.
-
Somebody needs to tell Sevilla that this is a friendly. Especially fucking Banega, dirty cunt.
-
I really don't get it. He's young, he's exciting going forward. We have had an issue with options off the bench. Doesn't make sense to sell him. Yeah, we can get maybe 20m out of him...but we don't have any big fees invested in him, and I think he's ready to make an impact after last season at Derby.

Only caught the highlights, and even there you see the gulf in quality.
Like the look of Brewster. Has the touch, pace and instincts of a striker. But also has a bit of swag.
For those who caught the entire match, how did Wilson do? I know he gave an assist, but how was his overall game?
He looked lively. His link up play was good with Brewster & Clyne. Shame that he will most likely leave the club cause I think he could be very handy coming off the bench.

Good game from us so far. Tranmere aren't putting up much of a fight but some of the young lads look lovely. Brewster with a couple of good goals.

Just got back from the new Child's Play film. Surprised at how decent it actually was! 6.5/10

Hopefully last night taught Klopp a lesson. Don't leave Firmino on the bench if he is fit, cause he always makes things happen. Ox is great, but not as part of a front 3, he needs to sit deeper and make those driving runs from midfield. Also, Gini needs to be absolutely first choice over Milner, he's out best midfielder when it comes to retaining the ball.
