Nike won the case.
Not sure how I feel about it tbh - because I don't really buy kits. But the New Balance ones were really nice looking and fairly unique, imo. But the big criticism was that New Balance's distribution was crap so the shirts would always sell out and then it would take forever for them to be back in stock.
Nike's unlikely to have stocking issues like New Balance. But the kits are probably going to look generic as fuck, because that's what Nike does - just recycles the same year's designs around for as many clubs and international sides as possible. They're also a pretty horrible company - though I'm pretty sure all of these kit manufacturers are as well. And we had Adidas as a kit maker before and they're just as bad as Nike.
I actually think New Balance were only ever good at home kits. The away ones went from underwhelming to atrocious in some cases. Nike will keep the home kit traditional at least. They also wont make as many questionable decisions on the away tops. I’m looking forward to what they bring actually. Shame that Umbro or Adidas weren’t in the running though, as I think both make better designs than Nike.
Plus, if it ends up with Nike sponsoring a move for Mbappe, then even better

Ole has some out and said he “hopes they can stop Norwich” and “we have to be at our best to have a chance”. Don’t care what troubles Utd currently have, you can’t be talking like that as a manager. It’s sounds defeatist and small time.

Better call saul season two was even better than the first. Loving it.

Beautiful Boy - 8/10
I feel this film could have been a lot better if the director had made the film a bit more urgent. Despite that, you definitely feel the emotion of it all. Chalamet is just brilliant, again. Carrell smashes it too.

On the bandwagon late, but just finished season 1 of Better Caul Saul. Loved it. Great show in its own right, and I’m really liking the supporting characters they have introduced so far. Nothing heavy, but such a fun show. Obviously, I’m expecting it to get darker as it goes on and I can’t wait.

It’s weird they made Thomas Wayne a prick though.
I actually think that any depth and meaning from this film are accidental. Todd Phillips is not a man of great substance, and in this first properly serious directing gig he has pretty much merged Taxi Driver with King Of Comedy. I think he is REALLY lucky to have such a master in Phoenix play the role, because with a lesser actor the problems with the film wouldn’t be getting ignored by the masses like they have.
Wait and see, Todd Phillips next film will not be nearly as well received. Don’t rate him.

Call me by your name - 10/10
Beautiful film. Perfect performances from everybody involved. Resonated with me so much, cried several times.

Joker - 7/10
Masterful performance from Phoenix but masterpiece of a film? Do me a favour. Unoriginal, and without much of a plot. I didn’t find it anything special other than an amazing performance from Phoenix.

Just change the rule about clear and obvious errors. Give the VAR ref just as much power as the on field. A lot of decisions that haven’t been overturned would have if the rules around it weren’t so fucking idiotic.

Not going to lie. He started off a bit ropey. But ever since he’s been partnered with Van Dijk it’s instantly made him a better defender. Going to be very hard for Gomez to pry him from the starting 11 as things stand.

Hopefully more teams do what Norwich managed

De Gea signing his career away step by step. Good job he'll be rich as fuck come the end of it.

Think you's are overestimating City's defence a bit. They've got great fullbacks but I still think that the CB position is something they could and should have improved on. Outside of Laporte would you say any of the other centrebacks are top class? Stone is the closest to it, but even he has his moments.
Said it time and time again, you get at this City defence and they will wobble. Hopefully Norwich play a bit mad today and give us a good spectacle.

Maybe nobody can make a proper guess with the inconsistency of this team but nevertheless, they are more than capable of shutting down ANY team and rashford scoring a brace
4 losses and a draw is my prediction

Funny you say that, my knees were killing me last night after me and the missus went to see Hobbs & Shaw and that was a little over 2 hours.. We had a no kids opportunity to get out of the house so we grabbed it while we could..
Avoid this film then, cause they will just be obliterated by the end of it haha.

IT Chapter II - 6/10
Big let down. Pales in comparison to the first part. It's so fucking long and all. Bill Hader was the highlight and a couple of the set pieces were cool. May improve the score on a second viewing but the 2hr 50m runtime destroyed my knees in the cinema.

Mental how anyone other than Messi and Ronaldo are winning this. There’s not a single player in the world on their level
Van Dijk was last year.

Just Newcastle's luck that, just as start hitting some form.
Lol, I know what you're trying to say but one win isn't form. He'll be a miss for them though, gonna end up playing that shitehawk Atsu.

VAR in the Premier League

They just need to take away the “clear and obvious error” per of the equation. We’ve got officials looking at replays and deciding not to make the truly right call, and for what reason? Because it was convincing enough to fool the on field ref?...that makes no sense and we are seeing these types of calls every single week. That’s what frustrates me the most, the fact that the VAR doesn’t feel they have the sufficient power to overrule the ref.
