  1. That's it, he's not as bad as the players we have had next to him. I actually thought he was better than he is but it's because of Lovren making so many clangers. Having Lovren away from him showcases his shortcomings. It's infuriating to have so many shit defenders.

I second VVD & Klavan & Milner RB. And NEVER again seeing Moreno played over Robertson.

  2. I'm so chuffed we were able to get so much for Benteke. He's got talent, but everything has to be set up perfectly and up to his specific needs for him to be a success.

As for Newcastle, I hate Ashley nearly as much as you lot do. An absolute cretin. There should be rules in place for things like this. The FA should be able to force negotiations, or something. He shouldn't be able to ruin a club like he has done. Two fucking relelgations, less marketing and sponsorship money that a decade ago??? Crazy how its been allowed to happen.

As for Rafa. I can't have any sympathy for him in this case. He knew what he was getting into. Too naive to trust the words of that fat cunt, he was never going to be backed properly.

  3. Stipe just out classed Ngannou so very easily. I love the guy, 3 title defences now. Backs it up every time. A 1st round with Ngannou was potentially the biggest challenge in his career, but he walked through it like it was nothing. So impressed, and it sets up a fight with Cain at the end of the year (hopefully).

Ngannou seriously needs to work on his cardio though. It was terrible. He looked dead on his feet at the end of round two! Drop some mass, a good 20lbs and work like a man man training your endurance. I like Ngannou, I think he has the potential to be a very big hitter in this division.

  4. That's fair point goldy, and I would agree with it now actually looking at that side of it. Been a bit blinded from just wanting this bullshit story to be over one way or another.

Like Balon said, Coutinho isn't going to wreck his season by going in a sulk. He'd be very fucking silly to go on strike.

Unless it's 200m, then he can go, which it wont. Not gonna be more that Neymar.

  5. Don't sell Coutinho this summer. Makes no sense for any of the parties involved. We can't afford to disrupt our chase for the top four and CL progression. Barcelona will be bringing in a player who may struggle slightly to bed in, and he is cup tied for the CL. And Coutinho shouldn't risk his world cup starting place but jumping ship mid season, especially when we are currently providing him with everything to flourish.

Do what we did with Keita. Announce a deal but for July 1st. The player gets what he wants, Barcelona have their golden boy and we don't fuck up our season and we have a summer to find a replacement.

If we sell this window and don't bring in a direct replacement I will be very fucked off.
