  1. So Poirier v Diaz is off the 230 card...gutted.

And they announced DC V Lewis. I love both men, but I'd like to see the upset here with a Lewis win. Really really really unlikely though.

They jumped in the cage to attack him. After he’d just had a professional fight. Absolute thugs.

oh look at me on the hate bandwagon. The more you all go on and on the more it makes me think the opposite.

Those thugs won’t be fighting in the UFC again for a reason. But obviously Rosie and Jim from a football forum have a more valid opinion and know more than Dana White a whole load of authorities.

Josh, have you actually watched the other footage whee McGregor is throwing fists first?

Khabib will get a fine as he should do. But what he did was no better or worse than what McGregor did to the bus.

  3. Always felt mighty mouse was a big fish in a small pond. Though can't deny he's been a beast, I was gutted for him when he lost his unbeaten record.

Madison Square garden still doesn't have a main event. I'm praying for a very very very unlikely Jones v Velasquez.

  4. Just seen the footage of Connor swinging at lasso first. What a donkey, it's probably what riled up the other two who attacked him. Very surprised that nothing more has been made of it. The cock in the red who went in from behind like a coward has come out laughing about it saying good a decision it was...yeah, dead smart. Lose your UFC contract and get fined to fuck but it was still a good idea LOLZ.

McGregor is nowhere near the goat. Saying that is sill at. Can't deny what he has done for the business, but he has a lot of question marks over his stamina, and he never does that good unless he gets a quick finish. That being said, I don't think some of you are giving him enough credit. He's made a lot of people look silly in the octagon.

  5. Let's not have short memories here. Before this whole feud with Khabib started, Conor was a great gobshite. He may have said things, but he never got personal to this level, there was always the element of fun and the showmanship was the main aim for his cracks.

This has been a deeply personal fight for both men. Both of them have crossed the line with their actions. I don't need to see a rematch, it'll just go the same way and there would be too much intensity in the build up again.

McGregor needs to fight Diaz again, that should be his next move.

1 season and 5 games. Flanno went 1 season.

Not saying it's so but no question I'd  have been laughed at similarly if I'd suggested Flanno might have just been an average player on a  emotional high in 2013/14.

Flanagan was different. He lacked the skill and finesse that Robertson has going forward. Nobody here can say that even at his best, that Flanagan was anything other than a great workhorse who could chip in with a few decent crosses. Robertson has so much more to his game, and you can count on one hand the times that the opposition have gotten the better of him.

They are great but part of me wonders whether robertson is permanent class or more a Jon Flanagan who's hacking a burst of hunger that is leading him to play above his capabilities but may not be able to sustain it....

Wat? All last season and this one...and you think it's all from some ongoing burst of confidence. Come on.

Still think we're bring in Fekir? I do agree with the new signing looking sharp. When we go Shaqiri everyone was thinking he'd be the same lump of coal he was at Stoke but he's actually been very lively and is contributing rather well in pre-season lets hope it continues into the domestic run as well.

I don't think it'll be Fekir, too pricey for somebody with injury issues. I'd love it to be Pulisic but he's cost s fucking fortune and I can't see us spending another 60/70m this summer. I think it'll just be somebody to pad out the sub options, somebody totally out of the blue.
