  1. He's had half a year. How long are they expected to wait? He was playing games months ago so unless he's suffered a further injury it would be ridiculous to not expect him to be fully fit for the start of this season.
  2. I don't rate Mr in his arguments most of the time but those are hard figures he's laid out and if you refuse to either dispute his argument/sources or accept that he has a point then Au Revoir to your credibility.
  3. His long term injury finished six months ago. He played not long after they signed him in January. Either he has a recurring injury in which case lol or he's just shite in which case lol as well.
  4. What a series of ridiculously biased statements. You should have just accepted a British person backing Schumacher up and taken it. Villeneuve was in the best car and lucky to find himself in that position yes but that doesn't affect Schumacher deliberately crashing into him in what is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport. The rest about the floor plates could be true for all I know but I still don't care because deliberate crashing is a cunts move and he still won the championship so he can hardly play the victim.
  5. Nobody pushed the boundaries and blatantly broke the rules as much as Schumacher did. He's also the greatest F1 driver of all time. Both are true. He did cheat but when he did he was disqualified from the 1997 championship altogether and Monaco 2006 when he parked on track he was demoted to the back, Alonso won anyway and Schumacher didn't win the title. Only the 1994/95 championship where he crashed into Damon Hill in what looked like a deliberate incident did he benefit from it. Hamilton and Vettel still have time to grow into better drivers than Schumacher was but it's unlikely.
  6. It's a weird phenomenon how giving an aggressive team talk on Football Manager actually makes a difference to your frustration and makes you feel like you've got something off your chest when in actual fact all you've done is pressed one button different than if you'd told the players calmly that they were absolutely shite. There's an interesting psychological case study there I'm sure.
  7. Gabriel Jesus has a lot to prove for me. Has had his injury problems fair enough and his record is decent but I think he's a bit overrated compared to what he's actually delivered.
  8. My bad. I guess we can all make ourselves look pretty dumb sometimes huh.
  9. Don't know, golf is shite. Is it the British one?
  10. I don't get it? Can never tell if you're being serious or trying to wind up given that I saw you mention in a thread a day or two back that you "correctly predicted" that Salah wouldn't improve Liverpool. This is what I'm referring too though admittedly it could be from any number of days or even years ago so I could be wrong:
  11. He's in America at the golf Open at the moment so yes that was definitely a joke.
  12. Think it was a joke but yes after his World Cup performances and the fact that he's young, English and on a long contract this summer Pickford would cost 2-3 times his actual value.
  13. So this is happening tomorrow: @Tommy @nudge @BartraPique1932
  14. Sounds like he's not backing us to finish above you this time .
  15. You can have a club captain then a team captain who's more likely to spend the majority of time on the pitch. Like for us this season hopefully Coleman will be team and de facto captain while Jagielka remains club captain. Saves you stripping a loyal player who you want to keep around but won't always be on the pitch of the captaincy. Or just give the armband to your new guy and come out with some shite about how you expect everyone to be a captain on the pitch and the armband basically doesn't matter. More than one way to skin a sheep like.
  16. Niasse equalised with a typical never had the ball under control but somehow ended up with an open net Niasse goal. Last 20 minutes has died out in typical pre season fashion. Good save from Burys substitute keeper just now to keep Niasse from a winning goal. Better second half than first half from us, Niasse, Kenny and Vlasic have done a decent job, the other defenders have had nothing to do and the other attackers have had a lot of huff and puff with no end product unfortunately. Connolly also looked decent and Besic had one good run forward. I was half watching the first half but Mirallas seemed pretty sharp down the left. I keep forgetting about him when analysing that part of our squad because I assumed he wouldn't play a role. Lookman was the only one who didn't get off the bench. Might mean nothing but no doubt people will talk about whether that's an indication of discussions with Leipzig moving forwards.
  17. Grosjean under even more pressure now then. Not many people have mentioned what a good year Magnussen has had so far though even if he does drive like a bit of a cunt at times.
  18. Niasse has hit the post three times in under 10 minutes . We made nine changes at half time but kept Sandro on the pitch so basically all of these players should be looking to make a point whether it's a friendly or not. Sandro looks neat and tidy but blazed a decent chance well wide to go with his falling over in the box after beating his man first half. Klaassen working harder than anyone but not much else. Same old story for those two.
  19. Our line-up for tonight at Bury. Sandro and Mirallas in the side again, Daby Klaassen on the bench. No Walcott or Bolasie.
  20. Nudge can, you can back off .
  21. Don't know how representative this is but:
  22. If this is true it should make for more interesting viewing for the neutrals over the next few years.
  23. Apparently I'm a Deer.
