£10 > £24.50 Southampton are woeful and I can't see them slowing Liverpool down at all. Didn't fancy anything from the Ipswich vs Man Utd match because I don't know what to expect from Amorim early days, so I've just gone for a straightforward Real Madrid win to take me over Evens.

That's enough for me I'm afraid. The day after this takeover is completed needs to be the first day of the post-Dyche era. He deserves a lot of credit and gratitude for grinding out safety in the last two seasons but he has absolutely no idea how to progress the football club. That today was everything wrong with us. 45 minutes against ten men to go and show what you've got in attack and all we served up was a few 30 yard pot shots and 45 minutes of aimless crosses. This lot clearly don't practice any attacking patterns of play in training. We haven't scored in 3 games and we won't be scoring at Old Trafford next week either. If we then don't beat Wolves at home we'll have 2 wins in 14 with the five teams we haven't faced being 5 of the top 6 in Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Forest and Arsenal.

Today feels like yet another game where if we win we will actually have breathing space but we're allergic to breathing space, it has to constantly be one or two losses from oblivion, so I suspect we'll fail to do so. Honestly just tired of this season already. It seems increasingly likely that Dyche will be relieved of his duties shortly after the Friedkins take over so just waiting for the next chapter to be honest.

F1 2024 - Las Vegas GP - 22-24th November
RandoEFC replied to MUFC's topic in F1 Forum - Formula One Racing
Yes apparently! I can't see how they'll compete for the championships next season. They're turning into a clown team. If they had anyone other than Verstappen in that car they'd be fucked and this year would have gone down as a huge fumble after they started the season with a "lap the field" dominant car. -

Lyon Provisionally Relegated to Ligue 2

This guy was within 24 hours of buying Everton according to some sources. I had a friend growing up who when we started going on nights out and stuff, she would always somehow catch the attention of the creepiest bloke in every bar or club without fail. Everton are clearly the football equivalent of this with the potential owners we attract. -
Referees/VAR in the Premier League
RandoEFC replied to Happy Blue's topic in Premier League - English Football Forum
Do people seriously think that there aren't players, managers and clubs that other referees can't stand or have had run-ins with? Coote has to go for this because that's the nature of their profession but in reality, the only real issue here is that he's got far enough off his tits to admit out loud which people piss him off. I see my own profession reflected in this. If someone got me pissed or high enough and started asking me which kids I teach piss me off and which ones I hate, they'd probably get all sorts out of me. Yet I go into work, put it to one side and try my best to teach them as well as I do with any other kids. It's really not that difficult. Therefore, I find it perfectly reasonable to believe that referees have all sorts of biases and preferences that they put to one side in order to do their job properly. Most people do tend to have some standards when it comes to their professionalism and integrity. The guy was off his face in the video by the way. Before commenting, everyone should probably think up what's the stupidest thing they've ever said when they've been in that sort of state and decide whether that should be used as the primary piece of evidence to judge your character and/or your career had it been filmed and posted on the Internet. -
I am hoping that the Leicester situation works out perfectly for us where Cooper gets to stay longer than he should because the early flurry of points keeps you in contention to stay up for most of the season. I don't think we'll get relegated still but I do think both Palace and Wolves have a higher ceiling than we do under our current manager and it could end up being us or Leicester. If you changed to a half-decent manager then that scenario might seriously worry me. Not that I'm totally unworried anyway because Cooper is a fluky manager despite being absolutely rubbish overall at this level.

I have a very low opinion of PGMOL but even I think they won't try to rehabilitate this moron. He should help himself and go quietly into obscurity. -

Twitter feed already full of Liverpool fans who have looked up every single game that he's ever been involved in with them and taking screenshots of every vaguely controversial decision that went against them. Got to hand it to them for their work ethic. I suppose you've got to find some way of keeping yourself entertained during the international break. -
