  1. https://kotaku.com/welcome-to-the-age-of-170-video-game-art-books-1821061699 Last year for my Birthday someone gifted me a copy of LoZ : Hyrule Historia and I absolutely loved the artwork in it. Anyone else have books or game artwork print material that they've gotten and enjoyed?
  2. News coming out that some clubs wants Danny Ings on a Loan during the winter transfer window. I think that's a good thing for him considering hes not getting much first-team action even with rotation and it only serves the club better if he turns out to be worse than what was originally expected. In all fairness you can't blame him considering he's been Daniel Sturridge Part Deux with injuries.

  4. I haven't really played a FIFA game in almost three years now so I really am clueless about what EA has done to the franchise. I always imagined it being rather good from reviews and what I read online but the players would certainly have a different story. Nice to see EA have ruined this too.
  5. You know they are just testing the waters here. FIFA is next.
  6. https://kotaku.com/why-some-zelda-speedruns-use-german-and-others-use-japa-1793623096 Great read on language choice to cut time in Speed-Runs.
  7. I remember when the problem broke out that reddit went crazy about how they were doing the wrong thing and no one listened till, like you said, Disney stepped in and whacked them on their knuckles. I despise EA as a company because of how they've gone about playing the Big Dog in every situation and ruining smaller shops but I think another sports release from them that is better than what the have now and all will be forgotten.
  8. I watched it and thought it was good
  9. They were always going to eventually. The amount of hate the gaming community has for them right now I wonder what drastic change they are going to have to make.
  10. You won't be disappointed. Its a rush and a good one at that. The story-telling is really good as well. On a side-note, if you've played CupHead and enjoyed it do take the time (when you get it) to watch this. I've always been a skeptic of how people rate/see games until I myself try them, Prey and No Man's Sky being the top two in that list. But the kind of comments and the analysis in the video are quite eye-opening if you're the kind of person to be swayed by YT/Game journal articles on the same.
  11. For anyone that enjoyed playing Doom I highly recommend the new Wolfenstein. What a rush.
  12. I generally go in the mornings so I get the kids and sometimes I get very lucky and it will be sparse. I tend to avoid peak times because of all the noise.
  13. Started watching The Punisher and its been great so far. It's got a Daredevil Season 1 feel to it and the angle on Frank Castle is very good as well.
  14. I need to watch more movies up in Mumbai instead of spending the night out on the town.
  15. I also saw that we aren't t he only ones chasing him but if a deal has been signed, like you said, I'll only believe it when it happens. Its weird how our top half is insanely stacked and not our defensive side but for the last two games having the manager acknowledge our lack of defensive capabilities and wanting to work on it in press conferences is a good sign.
  16. Today, I was reading an article on ArsTechnica about how the R.E.M 25th anniversary edition uses a Dolby Atmos engineering method to deliver the sound in a way we're not used to with regular Stereo sound and it got me wondering about how much I really care for it with the music I listen to. I've tried binaural audio and if you don't know what this read the link below to understand how it creates the 3D effect you may have heard on some music tracks. if you game a lot and have used a system or played games supporting these effects it can be quite nice although a lot of companies still struggle with using it right and more-so getting it to the lowest common denominator for the common person to use. So, do you care about immersive experiences with the music you listen to? Do you just care that you get a simple stereo sound and thats all you ever need? I would actually like to give this a test with some concert music and see how that plays out with a centered listening pattern if its possible considering that kind of sound doesn't have to be directed like most studio music tends to be. Its not as groundbreaking as the article suggests but as a person that has struggled for years with getting a pair of headphones I can use as a daily driver and get the best out of my music it does please me to know that sound engineering is finally getting to a place where we can start talking about music the way its meant to be experienced. 17. Thought the RB chief came out and said they didn't need him (Bayern that is). Then again this is Bayern so if they come calling I am sure he'd go there instead
  18. Is it true that we are trying to get Timo Werner or is it just some fantasy shit that's going around?
  19. I had great fun with the new Doom because I think I gave it minimal sittings and just blazed through most of it. Haven't played a GTA game in ages because I know that once I start it will become something I just occasionally touch just to roam the open world.
  20. This is part of the reason it took me months to finish Metal Gear I just didn't care for the actual story after a while
  21. I'll get back to it once I am done with new Wolfenstein. I almost considered going back but then I have the new Fire Emblem and the new Wolf to finish first.
  22. https://kotaku.com/the-video-game-voice-actors-strike-is-over-1820240476 nice to see they settled but I think another strike is on its way as this never really got the full resolution they were looking for. What's not surprising is that EA is in here and its also not surprising that they dont want to pay out the people who do work for them in terms of residuals and royalties. They truly are the Devil in the gaming industry.
  23. The more I see the way he acts the more I wonder if he's just acting out at his current employers knowing where he's going in the summer.
  24. Supposed to be fit against Southampton from what I was reading but we'll know when the day of the match comes.
