  1. https://www.huntshowdown.com/ Decided to give this a try with Early Access just because when I saw it demoed at a gameshow it had extremely good promise. That and the fact that its a Crytek game so theres definitely going to be some visual/mechanics goodness in there somewhere. From what I am hearing the servers are buggy and keep dropping games but its early doors so I expect that to improve immensely. Anyone else trying to play this now?
  2. Almost club him into the same bandwagon as all the people who said Firmino would amount to nothing based on the cash that was doled out. Think the boy was suffering from confidence problems but he's starting to get into his stride now.
  3. I'd imagine they'll make a tune out of that too eventually. Give them time.

  5. As long as you support Goa and not Chennai all will be okay Even if we're a goal down right now
  6. https://kotaku.com/sex-pong-and-pioneers-what-atari-was-really-like-ac-1822930057 With all the #NotNolan stuff going on this is a great piece from Kotaku
  7. In India it really depends on where in the country you are. As you go further south the split between football and cricket starts to show a bit more. And far out in the eastern parts they do like cricket but the football is almost religious. It predominantly also depends on the region and what history it has. For example, where I come (Goa) from cricket is followed but football is far more popular so you'll see far more people flock to local games or get engaged in smaller team games as well. As for the level of football its slowly improving from the state it was in almost 4 yrs ago. The Indian Super League did some wonders for the sport but its still not at the level you'd need to be to make a WC or challenge the better teams around the world. But, its getting there and if they keep going at this rate I think we'll see good progress within the decade. I hope to see my country at a WC one day but I am also realistic about how football is considered for growth and investment purposes across our sport board as well.
  8. You have that right. They had such a phenomenal year last year in the local I-League that it was almost unprecedented how it happened.
  9. Yes they are playing tomorrow in the AFC (Bengaluru FC) against TC Sports but its an away game. Went to a match last Friday as I get out of work a bit late and can't really make weekday matches.
  10. Do you get to any matches out there? I go and watch the local team play now and then (thats in India of course)
  11. Thought more than the mechanics it had a fantastic grungy sound. If you haven't already try the new Wolfenstein.
  12. I highly recommend Doom on the PC over any other version personally. That game was never meant to be played with a controller or on a TV. The Switch version was an impulse purchase and while its nice it does have moments where it stutters a bit. Plus the control schema does take a bit of getting used to.
  13. What are you playing on the Switch? I just finished the Doom port.
  14. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/02/konami-apologizes-for-announcing-nuclear-disarmament-in-metal-gear-solid-v/ A little unlike them.
  15. Im not playing anyone who dedicates over 40 Hours on a Yakuza game lol theres an ass-handing in there somewhere
  16. I do have it for my Switch. Why do you ask?
  17. Probably done the rounds somewhere else but made me laugh
  18. He needs to stay injury-free for a season to make a more 'visual' impact to the naysayers. He's got a great record and most people shrug him off because they don't see too much of him but when on form hes a joy to watch.
  19. Think thats a no-brainer you don't neglect the engine that makes everything tick and he is their most valuable player at this point in time. You'd imagine some other clubs might be trying to get his services too with the way hes been going but City will hold onto him.
  20. Found this relevant based on what we were talking about. Just ignore Danny as he tries.
  21. I'll give you that his metrics may look bad but then you have to also look at the way in which the goals were conceded from positions a goalkeeper should be stopping them from. Karius should be about half a foot to the right and that ball from Sane doesn't go in. I wouldn't say Migs is a lot better but I'll give him enough that he would have done a lot better in that instance. Karius was literally in the goal when he tried to touch the ball to deflect it. As for the second goal I have zero faith in Karius ever stopping anything like that ever. I blame the defenders more and maybe if Virgil is around then Gundogan doesn't even get a chance to touch it (big if) but we've seen before that when it comes down to closing spaces Migs is better than Karius in that aspect. He won't organize a defense or be an excellent distributor (never will be imo) but I would still bet that one of those two or even both of them do not find the back of the net with him in goal. It won't matter in the end because the boss doesn't want him playing big games anymore and once a goalkeeper comes out and says the kinds of things he has then performances will start to drop and I doubt he'll ever go on a decent run as well. He's just looking to move and if we can replace him with someone in this transfer window that is an upgrade and not a horizontal shift we'll be better off for it.
  22. Its like watching someone kick down a house of cards and not being able to do anything about it. I was playing a round and thought okay i've done well, got my defense sorted, got a lot of rangers and some soldiers ill be alright. Then it came as just two zombies and before you know it they were causing so much havoc it ended faster than I could even control it. Having said all that its still a blast to play.
  23. Have to say this, if Migs was in goal on Sunday then Sane doesn't get a world class goal and Gundogan doesn't get a free pass into the net. For all his shortcomings as a keeper and the mental bloopers he has shown time and time again I will give him this, he is a very good shot stopper at close range. Having said all that this is definitely curtains on his time at the club and hopefully the silver lining is, as Mike said, a new keeper in the summer.
  24. Its got all your standard building mechanics and I know some people on here like playing games like Civilization, DOTA, Warcraft, Starcraft, etc so they'll find it easy to pickup. It's getting ganged up on and totally f'ed thats the interesting and most frustrating part of this game.
  25. Been trying my hand at "They Are Billions" and its loads of fun till it decides to remind you of why so many people find it incredibly dangerous to get lulled into a sense of victory. Going cheap on Steam and I highly recommend it to anyone that likes playing these kinds of games. https://store.steampowered.com/app/644930/They_Are_Billions/
