I should say that its really just luck but the best ive ever gotten is a 40% off on a gamecube copy of Animal crossing with a trade-in for an SSX double copy I had. I've never sold a single console I have ever owned but friends have for trade-ins.

Can't you trade them in at a Gamestop, etc. ? I remember when I lived stateside that sometimes shops took them back and gave you good deals on the next console you bought.

When I initially owned the Switch it was more around the house playing because it was rather convenient. Got time to kill before work, put about 30min to an hour in if possible. Then I learned of its power potential on flights and long work trips. Since then, its been nestled in my carry-on and it spends more time there than on the dock which is gathering dust. I have probably only hooked it up to my TV about four times in total and all of those times were to play Bomberman with friends. I think its a stellar device which is gaining a lot of steam in the dev community. I just want that new Metroid to come soon and a new Castlevania. Rumors were going around that someone at THQ Nordic contemplated bringing Darksiders to the console. I'd be very happy if they tried that. I mean they brought Doom over, anything is possible.

I just finished playing Bayonetta 2 on the Switch and it was fantastic. As for the new Fallout theres a thread on here about it and from the looks of it Bethesda could have a rocking E3 if they do it right. New Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Doom 2. But we shall see.

All the time you'll have to wait while the grill gets prepped, meat seasoned, cook time. Surely, you can put a little Switch time in there.

That thing is so old now and it only gets a little love and attention here and there. Had to put all the other consoles away because people were over and we needed a staging area. You should go to the General Gaming News section and check out one of your country's gaming celebrities just posted it there and I should have tagged you. What a mix of games especially at that age. Mortal Kombat? Really? @Berserker now we know what the level of gaming is where you're at.

I got to about 411 moons and then stopped because other games came out but the ability to revisit worlds and just do runs is quite fun. Plus they packed so much into it anyways it keeps you busy for days.

The Alpha series alone is worth it except no training mode which I suppose is okay. As always, remember that Capcom's netcode is sketchy at best but still its a great purchase.

So with Fabinho and Keita not making the WC they'll join the squad early and train with them as well. I think this is good in the longer run considering players go these tournaments and can sometimes get injured as well (knowing our luck someone else gets injured at the WC).

In the end it really did make no sense to jam that much power into a living room box that can play movies and games. So that users can play games in 4K? I think most people also forget how under-utilized that chip architecture in the Playstation really is. It was decades ahead of what anyone was planning when they first introduced Cell tech and the demo that went with it for the original Killzone they wanted to put out. I think they've got the right idea here because the games are what make them profits and not the console. I just wish their network was as good as XBOX Live because that would start pushing more users to them.

Sony have apparently come out and said that the next generation Playstation Console is about three years away. Bold, but also a no-brainer considering they are dominating the market right now and probably will for the next year or two.

I played Shovel Knight a while ago on the PC and it was great. Haven't really tried the Switch version but I'd imagine based on the mechanics that it would be pretty good. Another game I thought was good this year was "Pit People". Give it a look, the narrative is quite hilarious and its turn-based strategy. Phew I could go on, I play too many games when I am travelling.

I've been jostling with trying an MMORPG again but after Divinity and the amount of hours I burned there I think I am sorted for 2018. Since you like platformers I'd recommend Hollow Knight if you haven't already played it. Simple and a very fun game to play. Or Dead Cells which is more Castlevania (2D) oriented.

Pre-ordered Detroit: Become Human today. From the leak reviews its supposed to be better than Heavy Rain and Beyond:Two Souls which isn't hard to believe considering the pedigree Quantic Dream have in this arena. The first game Heavy Rain is still one of the most memorable story-driven games I have ever played.

I can't remember where I read it (maybe on here) but I think his entire disciplinary breakdown may have something to do with him not being happy at the club. While I don't think that's the kind of attitude you want from a player you're trying bring on-board I have no qualms in what he will provide on that first season which was very good. Only time will tell what happens here.

Got myself a pair of Arctis 7's. Nice pair of gaming cans and not too expensive either. Wireless headsets are truly a great luxury.
