    Cooking

Hey, I cooked a lot of unauthentic Thai curries in the past, they still were great! Try adding some fish sauce and palm sugar as it helps to balance the taste and make it more authentic, hehe. Also, kaffir lime makes a big difference!

What kind of Thai curry? I barely cook these days anymore, mostly because it's actually cheaper to dine out here.

Aw, sorry to hear that Lucas... But it's not the end of the world, have a beer and move on!
  4. Ah, so that axe incident in Düsseldorf a few days ago was just you looking for Thomas?...
  5. It's not an American thing, I actually laughed at the flag being there too - even if it is expected. EU and LGBT support movement kinda goes hand in hand.
  6. It's a rally of EU supporters in Germany asking the Dutch to stay in the EU.
  7. Tell me about it; I have some friends visiting for over a week, and it's been a weird week trying to combine beer, whisky, work and fun. I haven't slept more than 4-5 hours each night since last Wednesday. Also tried eating frog for the first time.
  8. There are still hundreds of millions of UXOs around the world, including Europe, where hundreds or thousands tons are being uncovered each year, it's madness. It's even worse in Cambodia or Laos, you still can come across the landmines/uxo warning signs in rural areas.
  9. That could well mean the end of his career as well... Hopefully both Bargfrede and Delaney will be fit for Leverkusen.

I had way too much alcohol and only 30 hours of sleep in the last 7 days as a few friends came all the way from Europe to visit me. Can't wait until they're gone, I'm too old for this shite
  12. I read The White Tiger last year and absolutely loved it. I don't have much exposure to Indian literature, but this book is definitely a masterpiece.
  13. Thoroughly enjoyed it; must be in my top 20 books ever. Just love the story and the symbolism.
  14. Cheers! I was away for 5 days so I'm late to the party hehe.
