Honestly man he had an electric start to the season. He was probably our best player in the first half of the season but his problem has seemingly always been consistency. His second half tapered right off and he just could not make that final ball or finish to save his life. He had a few good matches in the champion's league specifically but its been a tough go for him for awhile now. I liked the idea of swapping him in for Wirtz as he had a few off matches but Wirtz is clearly the better option going forward.

Yeah I can imagine. The one good part of moving a bunch would be widdling down a bunch of shit you dont need and be forced into it. Half of the unpacking is sorting through shit to get rid of. I had a storage locker for nearly 4 years of most of my shit when I sold my condo. Our basement suite I moved into she was already occupying so I didnt bring much with me at the time. We where able to clear half the garage from shit so I can at least park the one car in there and thatll be it for the near future. We actually found most of the basics in the initial unpacking but I cant for the life of me find my kitchen utensils.. the rest of the kitchen is mostly squared away though.

I shit you not when I say hes been our best CB. The fan reaction has been kind of wild as hes been pretty beloved everywhere ive seen since he came here. It has been strange that back to back managers (now Kompany too) have kind of kept him on the bench through stretches until they either had no choice due to injuries or Upa doing Upa things too much. Theres funnily enough a fan petition online to keep him currently at nearly 9000 signatures anyways if you can get him for the reported €40-50m thats a steal.

Update on my situation; We are all moved in over the long weekend here. Everything went relatively smooth but my god im too old to do this again. Townhomes having 3 floors was not fun moving heavy furniture. Going in the idea is this is probably a 10 year home or so and im fairly sure we're hiring movers next time It was great to have a bunch of help though and we where able to move everything around to where we needed for the most part. Tired, sore, happy and still somewhat excited is the range of emotions over the weekend though... time to settle in and unbox bit by bit.

I just have to take a step back here and just ask the question how the fuck did America get to this point. You have one candidate who's clearly too old and cant be coherent enough for a debate and you have the other who nearly everything out of his mouth is a lie and bullshit.

Theres been allot of rumours surrounding a possible exit from Bavaria. I dont get it, hes been our best and most reliable CB for two straight seasons. I get his weakness is ball playing but that comes secondary imo given how shit our defence has been. Despite my best efforts it really sounds as though its picking up momentum and likely will happen. He is our top earner on defence and theres been allot of talk of reducing our wage bill as well.

This could be something.

Man Stuttgart just getting gutted; Ito, Guirassy, now Anton. Theres also been plenty out there about Führich. This is the state of football these days I guess.

Kimmich spoke a bit about it over the weekend. I dont recall where it was but basically said Bayern is still his first point of contact and he does have another year on his contract so its not entirely up to him. He did mention talks will take place after Euro's and Bayern is still his first point of contact. Honestly my thoughts we dont really need him as a RB, Id be fine to keep him there but someone needs to get sold then and if thats the case we would have 3 players that could cover that spot.. technically 4 with the Ito signing even. If we pivot to a midfield three Im much more inclined to keep him and hes infinitely more valuable in that setup. Hell even if we get a proper 6 and move him into an 8 id keep him there too. Here it is: context; he was being questioned to some comments in regards to the documentary released recently.. wont get into that but this is what he had to say in regards to his contract situation On his future: "This question does not just depend on me. What does the club think? What does the club want? My future is not uncertain, I still have an ongoing contract. Now the focus is on the Euros. After that, there will definitely be a conversation.
