  1. Might be tempted on this. I've only played Fusion and Zero Mission but really liked both of them.
  2. My old man used to work in a cash and carry warehouse in the 90's and they had PC's to buy. The game they had on one of them? Doom. Little 8 year old me was happily playing on it every time I went in. Tbf, I really liked Starcraft (the original and expansion at least. Never played the sequel). Will never play online again mind as I tried a couple and got absolutely ripped apart.
  3. I've heard the series is meant to be good in general, but it's never looked the type of game I'd be interested in.
  4. Never played any of them in all honesty.
  5. I've never played Majora's Mask on the N64 or 3DS, but it's meant to be superb and one of the N64's best. You done well there.
  6. I'm in a bit of a roadblock at present. Completed Mario 3D World as much as I want (the final world is an absolute twat, even with just three stages) but I'm due to start a uni course in a couple of weeks and will more than likely see my time limited, so not sure what to really start now. I have got Steam going on my laptop and have put Two Point Hospital, Cities Skylines and We Are Football at least on the wishlist, so have options via that route now.
  7. In all honesty, as much as I'd love to see Activision getting an absolute hiding, I think it'll just go the way of Ubisoft. 'Sack' (and I use that loosely) a few of the senior managers and directors, make out that you're a wonderful company but the shitshow still continues.
  8. Great. All I have in my head now are those fembots from Austin Powers. Thanks for that.
  9. Random question but has anyone played Cities Skylines at all? When I get a new laptop, I'm tempted to get it via Steam.
  10. What game is that? For me, I'm finishing off the main game of Mario 3D World (the final world, despite not having a lot of levels, is a twat) before doing Bowser's Fury.
  11. Could try a league just for a laugh really. Problem was always time dedication. Some ended up playing most of their games while others only played 2 or 3.
  12. Tbh, this doesn't surprise me too much. Not sure if it's the male dominance or just the general attitude of the industry really.
  13. Heard of it and remember reading that the graphics were great, but not so much the rest of the game.
  14. Pretty much the same for me really. I'm quite interested in this if it's mainly a portable Steam mind.
  15. Really liked it Tbf, especially as I enjoyed Spiderman before it and this was more of the same. Also liked the option to chnage the game's performance (as I don't have a 4K TV, the highest graphics setting is pointless. Due to this, I could sacrifice graphics and improve the framerate). The only downer I had was that despite knowing the game was shorter, I thought it would have been longer than it was. If you did just the story, you could do that easily in a few hours.
  16. Finished Miles Morales fully now, so fancy a little bit of a change and am playing Super Mario 3D World now on Switch.
  17. I always find it ironic that in an effort to stop piracy on a game, developers somehow make the game run shitter on a legit copy, but pirates manage to make it run smoothly on a pirated copy.
  18. Been meaning to give that a go, but still haven't played the third one yet.
  19. Great stuff. They've been saying the same for Wales and, from what I read, it would only be for the priority groups. That should mean that I wouldn't have it (I'm under the age of 50, not vulnerable and not a front line worker) but when I had a letter back in April, it mentioned that I was in priority 2 (healthcare and care workers) but remain unvaccinated. I work in the NHS but not as a frontline member of staff, but as I had the letter in the first place about being unvaccinated, I was considered part of the priority 2 group. Because of this, I could end up being offered the booster but will have to wait and see.
  20. Considering what I'd been hearing (that the side effects of the second jab is worse than the first), bar the slightest bit of an ache in my arm I had no side effects whatsoever. At the same time, the woman who gave me the jab had heard from someone else earlier that day saying that the second was meant to show less effects than the first, so who knows at this point.
  21. Time for my second. Considering what I've heard about the side effects of the second dose (if you're fine after the first one), this should be fun.
  22. My mam was confirmed to have this towards the end of last year and had it removed at the beginning of April (after it was cancelled last December due to rising cases of Covid). Her leg was in absolute agony the firstfew weeks, but seem to be fine now. What was more surprising though is that the doctors missed this for a good 4-5 years.
  23. I heard that was in the works for some time. Can't remember how long though. I'd like to see online multiplayer and being able to share user created maps online, as I know the first game had a map creator (can't remember if the second game had it). I'll be very surprised if either happen though.
  24. Nintendo coming up with the most unexpected announcement (for me at least) for E3. A remake of Advance Wars and Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising on Switch. I was not expecting that in the slightest. Would have been nice to see a new game, but I'll happily play these. I think I recommended the first one at least to @Dr. Gonzo a little while ago.
