  1. That might take some time to look at for me. Can't think of a couple of them as well (SaGa, SMT?).
  2. I don't know why, but I fancy some powerful love spells.

But it was done by a powerful spell caster. :(

  3. Just sounds like desperation from EA there. Probably looked at the Activision acquisition and saw the dollar signs. However, it's concerning that the biggest publishers are either being bought or looking to merge though. I know it happens in general with studios but regardless of opinions, Activision and EA are two of the biggest publishers in the world and am not sure if this will start to monopolise the industry a bit or not.
  4. We're apparently close to making our 4th signing of the season, with Jamilu Collins joining from Paderborn. Fair play, we need a fair amount of signings for numerous positions and we're starting nice and early for a change.
  5. I have Pokémon Arceus and Metroid Dread to have a go on for the Switch, as well as a few in PS4/5. Also waiting to see when the Advance Wars Reboot will be released after Russia fucked it all up.
  6. It is good in fairness, though I've criminally underused mine since I had it 4 years ago.
  7. Medical being completed for Ollie Tanner, a 20 year old playing for Lewes in the Isthmian League. Apparently Spurs were looking at him, but he wanted first team football, which is..............ambitious, to say the least. He'll apparently be in the first team for us rather than the under 23's. Let's hope he's as confident in making the huge step up. EDIT: Confirmed now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61500289
  8. We've apparently made a second signing. Jak Alnwick will join from St. Mirren on a free transfer. EDIT: Confirmed https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61479780
  9. Personally would hope both go down the shitter (EA and FIFA), but that's too much to ask unfortunately.
  10. Don't know much about him, but heard he was one of Forest Green Rovers stand out players last season. If he can bring the energy he says he has, that would be superb as we are in need of an engine in midfield (we are just far too slow in midfield).
  11. Coutinho has joined Villa permanently. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61415076
  12. FIFA trying to wank themselves off as a result of this. https://www.eurogamer.net/fifa-insists-the-only-authentic-real-game-that-has-the-fifa-name-will-be-the-best-one-available
  13. Same for me on the Mega Drive. Can't remember which version it was (might be the very first one), but I remember one of them you can run away from the ref constantly to stop being booked.
  14. EA have officially ditched the FIFA brand and will now be known as EA Sports FC. https://www.eurogamer.net/after-almost-30-years-ea-is-officially-ditching-the-fifa-brand-1
  15. It's with a heavy heart that after only four years of having her, the gammy eyed fluffy fool known as Lola was put to sleep last week. She wasn't even 8 years old. She was not looking right at the beginning of April as her breathing did not look right at all. Took her to the vets and after checking her over, they said she had loose teeth and booked an op for her. A couple of weeks later, we took her to the vet again (different location) as she was still not looking right (despite painkillers). Was told the same thing that it was toothache. Last Thursday, we felt her stomach and it was pretty hard (as well as her breathing still not being right). Went to the vets and requested a full scan, but was told to expect the worst. The worst happened. We were told she had intestinal cancer that spread throughout her entire body. Our options were to either keep her drugged up at the vets and delay the inevitable, or put her to sleep. I don't think the chosen option needs further explanation. We went to the vets the following morning to say our goodbyes and that was that. It was the first time I ever saw any of my dogs put to sleep and I'd rather not do that again. My other dog has lost a companion for the second time now and is currently lost without her.
  16. Kell Brook has announced his retirement from boxing. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/boxing/news/12183/12607380/kell-brook-former-welterweight-champion-announces-retirement-from-boxing-aged-36
  17. Quite happy my mate is no longer a councillor for my area in all honesty. Would have likely lost his seat thanks to the shitheads in the UK government.
  18. Lingard set to be on his way then. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61320043
  19. Ah fair enough. I thought that was still the case (that or there was some form of loophole that allowed it).
  20. Everyone has different circumstances, but my old man always said to me that renting was effectively dead money for the reason highlighted above. You're basically putting money into someone's pocket with nothing for yourself, while any complaints to the landlord can result in revenge evictions.
  21. Not looking forward to that. Have to pay stamp duty on anything over £180k in Wales.
  22. Yeah, seeing that myself a little where I am. 1. Saw a house nearby where I live that was very nice and it was 'offers over' £190k (I think you can see where this is going already). I know the market is stupid, but I refuse to be stupid with the market and offered £196k (a bit more, but not ridiculously so). I was told the accepted offer was 'considerably higher' than mine. I found out that someone offered £202k and was also rejected. I heard a rumour that the accepted offer may have been as high as £240k (for a £190k house), though I can't confirm that. 2. I saw a house via another estate agent that was sold (nice cottage, but not what I really want). Within a month, it was available to rent. Seen a few others in my area that have gone up to let as well. Ridiculous really.
  23. Rangnick will be Austria manager after the end of the season, but still be in his consultancy role at Man U. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61266953
