  1. https://www.eurogamer.net/fifa-licenses-array-of-qatar-world-cup-web3-blockchain-and-mobile-apps What the actual fuckery did I just read?
  2. I find that an opportunity for certain types of criminals at a chance for redemption. If you win, congrats, you go free. If you fail, nighty night for you.
  3. @Carnivore Chris, I have a PS5 myself, though it seems like you can't go too wrong with either console in all honesty. It's worth looking into Gamepass on Xbox though. Very good games to choose from for a monthly fee and even brand new releases are added to it day one.
  4. Probably for the best to sink it really, as Twatter is an absolute shitshow.
  5. @The Palace Fan I forgot to mention this for Clash at the Castle last month. I don't watch much of WWE, but remember really enjoying the NXT Takeover in Cardiff a couple of years back, when Gunther was Walter at the time. Why oh why did they change his entrance music? It was great under his previous guise, but now it just sounds like your typical 'I'm going to shit down your neck and rip out your baby's eyes' Eastern European style entrance music like others before him.
  6. Watched a fair bit of it last night. The main fight was very good in fairness. Thought Mayer should have won mind, even if it was close.
  7. For anyone interested, here's an article about David 'Bomber' Pearce. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-63143785 Admittedly, I've never heard of him until this article, but reads as though he could have had a great career. Not sure if the older members on here may have heard of him.
  8. Good point for the part in bold. I'd forgotten about that admittedly.
  9. Random question of the day. With all the sanctions placed upon Russia by the West, are they actually working in any way shape or form? I ask as at present, it seems that Russia are still able to try and press on with the invasion, while Europe appears to be feeling this more than Russia in terms of increased prices (mainly due to reliance on Russia I believe), despite the sanctions (which would take time for them to have an effect I believe). Not really seeing anything to suggest what we've done is actually affecting Russia. Time for a bit of research online methinks.
  10. Started to give Pokémon Arceus a go. I like what they've done in fairness and in a future game, you could incorporate some of this into the mainline games (throwing pokeballs instead of battling when you see wild Pokémon, the wild area being more vast, more Pokémon to populate it etc). I haven't got too far into it yet, but already liking what I see.
  11. Never played it in all honesty. Looks alright mind. The next remake required methinks is X-Men and developed and/or published by Dotemu, seeing as they were involved with Streets of Rage 4 and the TMNT remake.
  12. Unless Southgate tried to stop topping the group like at the last World Cup, England will top it. Between us and America for the second spot I feel.
  13. Agree on Red Dead Redemption. Was very good overall, even though the online was a bit crap. As for Assassin's Creed, what I played was ok but when I played them back to back, I basically got burnt out and wasn't really enjoying them in the end. My general opinion: 1st - Can see what they were doing but very repetitive. Altair was boring as well. 2nd - Personal favourite of those I played. More side missions with more variation and Ezio was a good lead. Liked the story as well, though thought the final boss was ass. Brotherhood - Also very good. Really liked ways to build your own Creed, sending them out on missions etc. Plus playing about in Rome was always fun. Revelations - Meh. Couldn't get into this one. Hated the tower defence game (though ironically made you play the game more as an actual assassin ) and wasn't arsed with the bomb crafting. Also by this point that it started to feel too samey. 3 - Ambitious but didn't really like it, namely because Connor just came across as a whiney asshole, which put me off. That's where I finished as I didn't play much of Black Flag and Unity was a buggy mess when released. By the time Syndicate came out, I was already a bit behind and had no real interest in getting up to speed.
  14. I haven't seen it myself. On holiday at present and where I am has poor signal and WiFi. That sounds good, though haven't played Breath of the Wild yet.
  15. Ah nice. Pretty close. I was up in the heavens unfortunately.
  16. Yeah, thought the ending was shit as I'm not a big fan of Reigns at all, but thought the matches were good overall.
  17. You may have randomly seen me at some point as despite not watching WWE for some time, I had tickets for it (that and the Deadman show the night before). What did you think of it? The crowd went nuts when Edge came out as you showed above.
  18. No chance. Think I got nearly half of the items available overall. Could have done more but want to try and play as much as possible before I start uni again.
  19. Took a while but finally finished Metroid Dread. Very good overall. Those E.M.M.I's are a bloody nightmare mind.
  20. Sounds good to hear. If he signs, I'll be surprised if he doesn't start. Bagan is decent enough but mainly as backup.
  21. Apparently looking to loan Nkounkou from Everton @RandoEFC, @Whiskey. Any good?
  22. One of two ways really. Either we struggle and are in a relegation fight, or we surprise a few and compete at least mid table. If the Norwich game is anything to go by, I think we might surprise a few as while we didn't create a lot in the final third, we tried to play some good football (despite fielding a near brand new team) and held a recently relegated team that includes Cantwell and Pukki to practically nothing (one Allsop save from Cantwell and a flick onto the bar were the only chances they had all game). Watters had a pretty poor game and while a decent enough squad player, he shouldn't be our main striker. Here's hoping that Etete will be the missing piece of the puzzle up front.
  23. The vast majority are free or loans, with only Tanner costing a fee prior to this (Etete cost £500k according to reports, with Tanner costing £50k). We also released a lot of our first team as they were on high wages and weren't going to be part of Morison's plan. Saw this on the Cardiff forum to give you more of an idea.
  24. Signing number 14 complete. Kion Etete signs for us on a three year deal from Spurs. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62404065 Know much about him @Storts (can't rember.the other Spurs fan on here)?
  25. Older one. Had it since the end of 2017 and I'm not paying £300 or so for shinier graphics. Still looks good on it mind.
