Mpache Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 This thread will be for general animation, but let's kick it off with a topic starter. Best features of the decade? Coco Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 Toy Story 3 and 4 Wreck it Ralph Despicable Me (only the first one) Monsters University (yes, I actually liked it) The Incredibles 2 Haven't seen Inside Out or any of the Disney movies (the actual studio, not Pixar).
Mpache Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 Gonna be honest, even though it's not animation barring the main character, I'm looking forward to the Sonic movie. It's gonna suck, most likely. However I've still got a bit of faith it could be decent. The second trailer was much better than the awful first one.
nudge Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Not that much of a fan of animation but Coco is something else. Love it.
Azeem Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Rango should be on that list, it features a unique style of animation and it was enjoyable
Azeem Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Forgotten Golds Balto, A Bugs Life, Spirit the Stallions of Cimarron, Chicken Run, Anastasia, Road to El Dorado Of the recent times movies that were enjoyable but not up there with the rest Flushed away, Open Season, Rio

If so Princess Jellyfish Stein's;Gate Attack on Titan Hajime no Ippo: Rising Parasyte: The Maxim Tokyo Ghoul Dragon Ball Super (subjective of course but I liked it) Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans One-Punch Man Erased Aggretsuko Devilman Crybaby Your Lie in April (don't judge me but I thought this was very good) Kuromukoro (shame they couldn't keep it going past season 2)

I don't like counting it as canon because Akira Toryama forgot a lot of things and it contradicted a lot of the original series, but ignoring that I did enjoy the series as a whole. Mostly the second half of it, not when they were just rehashing the Gods and Frieza movies.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted January 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted January 28, 2020 You know I think that modern art representation of Manga classics is pure garbage. Here's a good example vs Maybe I am biased over here but is there any benefit in doing all this CGI crap instead of going the classic way?
